Mint place for breakfast.
I really like this place, particularly in summer when you can sit outside and enjoy watching the people walking past. The drinks are lovely and the food is very nice too, the prices are quite high, but could be overlooked as no other cafe seems to offer the same type of menu and experience as the Boston Tea Party does. One little problem i had was that i had to wait nearly 10 minutes for my drink although that may have been because it was being made by a trainee under supervision.
The boston tea party is a familiar chain to me and is frequented reguarly rather than buying from the more expensive chains. It serves top quality cake, sandwiches and hot and cold drinks at a reasonable price. It is eco-friendly, recycling all containers they use and supporting fair trade. The white hot chocolate is the best around and it’s nearly half the price of the more expensive coffee chains.
not bad little place, always busy cause of its location.. idea to chill in the afternoons with a few mates and catch up over a coffee, id recommend it in the warmer months as its outside bit dose get the sun and is ideal placed for a spot of Parisian style people watching!
This place has regulars as well as the one-off tourist crowd, which says a lot. It is a little pricey but it’s a great place to come and chill with friends for a chat in a cool atmosphere. Yummy cakes and interesting sarnies/wraps (especially if you’re veggie - no more 'shall I have cheese or egg?!’), all freshly made with local ingredients. Great spot to sit outside and people watch when the weather allows, although they do have outsde heaters too (not a fan myself).
This is a cosy little coffee place on the corner of busy Kingsmead Square in the centre of Bath. They do really good coffee and amazing cakes and sweet things!!! Be warned though, it is rather overpriced to say the least which kind of leaves a sour taste! They also serve snacks such as panini’s and sandwiches, salads and things like that. The food is really tasty and it’s a nice atmosphere too so it’s worth going to, as long as you don’t mind paying a bit over the odds for what you get. They also do brilliant breakfast baps like egg and sausage and they are great quality – really sort out the hangover!!
Lovely outside seating area, watching the world go by under a HUGE tree that they put sparly lights in, whilst drinking your hot drink from an extensive menu. Also good for a snack with your drink, and buggy-friendly.
Good quality drinks in a really nice place. I really like the hot chocolate.
Food good, coffee great, staff lovely, outside seating is fab in the sunshine. Has a good, boho atmosphere and is a nice place to sit and try to tame a hangover.
I agree with emmar’s comments about the loo, though; well-hidden and grubby.
