This place is worth visiting just for the fish tank in the outdoor patio. Set in the railway arches this is a lovely place to visit, very quaint industrial Leicester. The prices are OK and the bar staff are friendly. It’s a great, intimate and welcoming environment and they do a plentiful and cheap Sunday lunch.
It’s very traditional and windy inside, always clean and well kept, but the real winner is the outdoor seating with lovely planters and even a wide screen TV mounted on the arch where they show the sport!
A great find and apparently it’s been under threat for some time (perhaps because of the unstoppable expansion of DMU)so visit before it’s too late.
