The Clinic in docklands is easily accessible and completely welcoming as are the staff. Yes, the actual 'zapping' is painful but bearable and the Nurse will adjust the laser strength if required. You can do the whole 'shebang' in under 2 hrs.  

There are HUGE differences between the types of lasers and any of those hair removal offers at salons will NOT work. Laser Active is run by genuine Nurses who actually understand the equipment and the reasons behind hair growth.

The costs are not "cheap" but in this instance you get what you pay for: trained, experienced professionals and state of the art machines. This means RESULTS. 

I really cannot stress how much I recommend Laser Active and I would urge anyone who has been sitting on the fence like I was for years to make that appointment. I wish I'd done it years ago. 

I cannot recommend Laser Active enough! To anyone toying with the idea of going for a free consultation with them, all I can say is go for it and you won’t regret it. This lot are pros. And if you’re thinking that all laser hair removal companies were created equal, think again.

There are two classic types. Firstly, there’s the ones (some big companies, some small beauty salons, they come in many guises) that don’t know all that much about lasers but hope to dazzle you by regurgitating some impressive sales talk. Pound signs appear in their eyes as they cast them over your unwanted hair and attempt to flog you a course of treatments despite having no idea how many sessions you’ll actually require. Then, picture the scene, a beautician takes free reign over your precious skin with a gun attached to some kind of contraption that may or may not be a true laser and may or may not be at the right settings. Afterwards, they tell you to come back much earlier than is necessary so that you’ll need more sessions over all and they’ll make more money out of you. The gamble you take with your money (and your skin) is not one that is likely to pay off. Chances are you will be left out of pocket, disheartened and hairy (or even worse, burnt). It goes without saying that you should avoid this type of company like the plague, but doing so can prove quite difficult as this industry appears to be surprisingly unregulated.

Anyway, the second type of company are the ones that we all want, the ones that, you know, ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING AND GET RID OF YOUR HAIR. Finding a company in the latter category is not necessarily easy, but thankfully, Laser Active is one of them. They are trained nurses who really know their stuff (this is coming from a person who is always full of questions!) and take a lot of care to ensure their treatments are safe, comfortable and, above all, effective. With free touch-up treatments to ensure that no hairs are missed, you certainly get your money’s worth. On top of this, they happen to be incredibly lovely people who treat you like an important human being rather than a lucrative piece of hairy meat. That’s always nice. If you’re thinking about getting laser hair removal and don’t fancy taking a gamble with your skin, give Laser Active a try. I’m so glad that I did.

Laser treatment has dramatically improved my life. I have had the treatment pretty much everywhere that's possible now on a female body and what I have noticed is considerably smoother skin on my legs and under arms - no more 5 o'clock shadows. Not only this, I get out to work quicker in the morning as I no longer have to shave my legs and no longer have to suffer the nick of a razor when you catch yourself due to being rushed and late for work. Laser is so much better than waxing as well since there are no ingrowing hairs - something I really used to suffer with after years of waxing.

Before Laser Active, I had tried a couple of other Laser treatments and unfortunately I was burned by the laser. That is why it is so important to receive the treatment from somebody who knows what they are doing. Kerry and Gill are both qualified nurses and have been specifically trained in the use of Lasers for hair removal and so I always feel really safe in their hands. They also give good practical advice on aftercare. Really lucky to have found Laser Active.

Starting my Laser Active treatment was one of the best things I did last year!
Both Kerry and Gill are very professional and knowledgeable; they make you feel at ease during the appointment and make sure you understand everything they are doing.
Their prices are very competitive and if you think about how much a waxing session costs in this city then it's not expensive at all. Plus, when you're having laser treatment you can spend a good 5 to 6 weeks completely hair-free... waxing usually lasted about 2 weeks for me and it was expensive in the long run, painful and gave me ingrown hairs.
I wouldn't go as far as saying it doesn't hurt, but it's certainly less painful than waxing and the results will last forever! i can't wait to have the treatment finished and never worry about shaving/waxing again!

I've had 3 sessions so far and the results are already noticeable!

I only have praise for Laser Active - Kerry and Gill are both lovely and true professionals in all that they do.
I almost float out of my sessions knowing that all is under control again. It isn't painful and the result is superb.

I am already on my 4th treatment and the results are fantastic! I totally recommend it.
The process is a bit uncomfortable but it pays off; it is much better than shaving, waxing, etc

Kerry is excellent, really good at explaining, taking absolute precautions, and ensuring maximum efficiency.

Fantastic - Wish I had taken the plunge years ago.

No more worrying about working out when your legs are going to be on show and counting backwards for holidays etc.

Even after the first treatment, there was a very noticeable difference and although it is a bigger outlay up front, far cheaper in the long run.

It doesn't hurt, it's certainly lot less painful than waxing. Kelly is professional and certainly puts you at your ease and you do feel that you are being dealt with by a very professional set of people in nice, relaxing surroundings.
