Thank you for your comments, I am sorry to learn that someone has had a negative experience with Lets Rent. Firstly, I must point out after checking our records we do not have a Landlord by the name of Amy on our system who is unhappy with our service. I do find a strange somehow that someone’s id is amy12345 as if this has been created for this post.
We offer a full management service of our landlord, and do provide detailed inventory reports which depending on the agreed rate is an optional extra. If a landlord decides not to pay for this we cannot be held responsible for this.
You mentioned in your comment you were managing your property yourself. Did you arrange a checkout inspection with your tenants?
If so, had you offered the a reasonable timeframe to allow to resolve any issues which you raised? Did they just leave without giving notice? There are many rules of betterment which the tenant has protection from which you may need to look into.
As for compensation, no agency guarantees dilapidations caused by a tenant. We pass all rent on to our landlords when collected, each month we have a bank reconciling system which will ensure that no rent gets missed. we do not pay nor charge the tenants any money for utility bills as this is their responsibility.
We have many landlords who speak very highly about our services and I do feel this is very strange.
We have a complaint procedure in place and I would suggest you put something in writing to us with your full name and address of your premises so that we can investigate/conclude your claims.
