I emailed Nuala and asked if there was anything she could do, and she emailed straight back and asked me to come in for a consultation. (She even gave me the consultation when the studio was meant to be closed, taking time out of her free time!) She told me it would be possible to remove the black and get my hair back to my natural colour, and I booked an appointment for the next day.
Nuala and an assistant worked on my hair for a long time, but were both lovely and attentive. Often when colour correction is performed, the hair has to stay a horrible brassy gingery colour for a while, but Nuala made sure my hair was as close to my natural colour as possible.
I am over the moon with the results, I also had my hair cut, and have never had a hair cut as amazing as this. My hair feels in fantastic condition, thanks to all the treatments she put on my hair before hand to protect it.
I was given numerous magazines, and complimentary cups of tea and water, and was made to feel at complete ease, with Nuala explaining every step of the process to me in understandable terms as it went on. The price charged for the colour correction, re-colour, cut and blowdry, and some products was very reasonable considering the time and effort that went into saving my hair.
I have booked another appointment to tweak the colour slightly, and am looking forward to going back. It just goes to show that even when you think your hair is so bad that it's unfixable, there are hair professionals out there who can work wonders. Would recommend Nuala hair studio to everyone!

I really love my new hair cut and even my boyfirend noticed when I got home which is unheard of. He said that I look like a model which I assure you I am not. This is the best hair cut I have had in years thanks to Nuala. She also coloured my hair as well and I have had comments that it suits my skin tone which I am very pleased about. I will be going regularly from now on.

This is quite possibly the best hair colour & cut that I’ve had in years. Nualu really knows her job and I will definately be recommending her to all my friends and family. My husband keeps on saying how lovely it looks and every time I walk past a mirror I stop and look at my hair because I can’t believe how good it looks. She made me feel relaxed and confident that she knew what she was doing from the moment I sat in the chair to talk things through…thanks Nuala..you have made me feel like a new woman.

I recently had a haircut with Nuala. I have been with the same hairdresser for more than a decade but he has moved away and it was time to find someone new to deal with my wavy & curly hair but I am apprehensive about trying new stylists.
Nuala was personable, put me at ease and did a good job on her first go with my hair. I’ve waited about a week before writing to see what I think of the cut. As far as the curl goes she has done a great job and I will probably be back.
She was very good about asking what you want and talking you through what she was doing that I have no doubt that next time we’ll get it exactly how I want it. But to get the curl right on the first go is fab. And she gave me some helpful styling tips.
I would have no reservation recommending her, especially if you have wavy or curly hair – she knows how to work with it!

I had a Groupon voucher and had a great cut by a stylist. She was professional, knowledgable and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. My haircut was great and I was really pleased as always bit nervous about people cutting my curly hair. I was so impressed that I made another appointment and may even try some highlights as heard that they do great colours. Thanks what a great find!!

I am really pleased with my hair cut. Nuala herself did it and she asked me what I want from my hair cut, how much time I want to spend managing it etc. She transformed my ‘mop’ to a really nice hairstyle which I am very pleased with. Even my husband said it’s the best hair cut I’ve had for a long time which speaks for itself!!
What’s nice is that she took time explaining how to manage my curly hair, recommended products to help and even said I was welcome to call if I had any questions! I was so pleased with the cut I booked my daughter in too – she has very hard to manage, dry hair and once again Nuala gave us lots of advice on how to manage her hair.
All in all really pleased – I’ll definitely be back!

My overall experience of Nuala hair studio was a good one, i really liked the cut which was done by Nuala herself who was very friendly with good hair advise. I would definitely recommend the salon to others!

Best hair cut I’ve had for over a year. The stylist really listened to what I wanted and I’ve had loads of compliments on the cut since. Deffinately going back.

I booked my appointment back in November as part of a Groupon promotion. Instead of being with a junior stylist like most salons offering a promotion, my appointment was with Nuala herself.She was very friendly, offered great advice on what style to have and how to maintain it afterwards.
It’s a very relaxed friendly atmosphere and I didn’t feel rushed like you can be in other salons despite being the last customer of the day. I liked the place so much I went back the next week to have Nuala colour my hair. I will continue to use them in future as I am glad I have found a friendly hairdresser I can trust.

I recently had my hair cut with Nuala and was very happy with the results. she really listened to what i wanted and was very attentive.
