Stevenage Market

Stevenage indoor market has everything. Literally everything. They sell bags, phones, books, ornaments, clothes, shoes, flowers, jewellery, haircare, pet items, furniture, electrical items, fruit and veg, ethnic foods, meat fish, sweets etc…see where I’m going here?

This is a nice place to wander around and pick up items you never even thought of at reasonable prices. Pass by the sweets stall and you’ll probably come away with a few bags filled with sweets!

My personal favourite store is Unicorn, located near the tattoo parlour and the cafe. It has a host of alternative clothing and bags, and also stocks jewellery, make up, hairdye, badges and patches.

The indoor market is absolutely awesome. A vast array of stalls, from gothic clothing to wool and fabric, to sweets and then to tattoos. The Carpet stall has covered my flats floors, and in amazing value for money, and really good quality. A must see!

The market is a good place to go if you want to get bargains. There is a carpet shop just as you go in. I get all my carpets from this shop, they last for ages and are really good quality. They are also a fraction of the price you would pay in any of the big carpet shops.
