I had to meet an American client for a quick bight between meetings at St. Pancras - and the choice at the moment is underwhelming. The friendly staff did their best to accomodate us in the time we had and our starters of arincini with a roasted pepper sauce were superb. One was cheese with the melted cheese oozing through the rice and the other stuffed with ragu. My main course of lamb stew was much more disappointing. The meat was cooked well enough but the sauce felt a little watered down and underseasoned.
We’ve enjoyed quick meals before at other branches of Carluccio’s however and we will be back.

This is such a good restaurant, and you’d think being in a major international train station it would be heaving but it’s always been really quiet! It’s great, a not cheap but it’s quality you’re getting. And not just quality of food, the service is amazing too. I was guided easily through the menu and it was like having my own personal “restuant-shopper”! The staff member I had was really good, and helped with explaining what all the fresh food out was. There was such a good shop too, I just had to buy some presents! What a great experience, I strongly recommend it.
The food’s great too, did I mention?

Service with a smile, and i didn’t even have to beg for it. Carluccio’s is fantastic!! First one i went to was a couple of months ago, at Heathrow Terminal 5. Was leaving London for sunnier weather and went in for a couple of “goodbye” drinks with friends… Suffice it to say i have them on speed dial for every and any occassion.
The food came very quickly, and was scrumptious, they even genuinely seemed to care if everything was to our liking.
good food, affordable prices, nice ambience…. not too good to be true, just the Carluccio way.

How do they do it? All Carluccio’s are FAB! Staff are charming, the food represents great value for money and it all seems to be cooked with love and enthusiasm despite the fact that this is, let’s face it, a chain!
My 12 yr old son and I LOVE the shop and always come back loaded up with goodies(cioccolata fiorentina, great coffee etc). Fave items on the menu are arancini( son) and pasta giardiniera…penne in a delish courgette sauce with deep-fried spinach balls. Yum-scrum.
