Thai Light

We have eaten at this restaurant several times before and we have always had a good meal with friendly and prompt service and last night was no exception. We took some close friends and had a splendid meal, the food was well cooked with attentive service. We can recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely appalling food. Ordered a takeaway and was stung by a £4.00 hidden delivery charge based on 65p per mile. I only live 4 miles out of Halstead! Food was inedible and the cartons were swimming around in liquid inside the bag.
Needless to say I was straight on the phone and took it back myself. I was offered no appology and the staff were rude.
Kitchen looked appaling from where i was standing. Eat there if you wish to be seriously ill!

Went to Thai Light with our friends from the local pub, The Five Bells.

We had a great meal, really good food and great fast service by the friendly staff.

Have also since had a take away from there, also delivered within 20mins - unbelievable!!
