The landlord of this place is a disgrace!! A poor 84 year old woman had collapsed outside in the morning and all the landlord had to say was ‘go away’ not even offering a blanket or glass of water – what a disgrace, close this place down with his attitude! I see theres a similar previous review about him too. I wish I could leave the starts blank, not even worth the one! DISGRACEFUL.

A friend went to the pub to enquire about advertised job opening….didn’t even get inside the door but was told to ‘f off’ . If this is the managers attitude no wonder the reviews are so bad. Wouldn’t set foot in the place. Bad publicity is free, free, free

Well after going back to The Nags Head since it reopened all i can say is what a travesty!! Should have left it shut! Sorry mate you are not able to follow the class act that ran it for 20 years!!! Forget it

Dongle1176, 12 June 2011:Wow! i know, before the pub was taken into new management it was lovely! Now it's crap. The windows are covered and the place is dark and un-happy.
Overal utter. Crap.
Can't even keep the flowers alive outside! There was always a lovely flower arrangement alive and thriving outside the pub to welcome you. Now they're dead and the place has no where to sit, as the outside patio area is full of rubbish where the new manager hasn't bothered to clear it. I wouldnt come here again. As the place has no longer got the welcoming atmospeare it onced had.
