1 review of The 24 bus in English
A bus from Pimlico to Hampstead Heath is of course immediately more useful to someone living in, say, Chalk Farm, and who works in Victoria. Or who has a penchant for visiting parks after they’re finished at the office. However a neat feature of the 24 route is that it goes up Whitehall and Charing Cross Road, so when you’ve got visitors from Far Away coming in to the Victoria Bus Station (for example), you can pop them on the 24 and they can drool with joy as they pass the Houses of Parliament, 10 Downing Street, Trafalgar Square, and if they’re keen-eyed get a few glimpses of Soho and Theatreland as well. And all for the price of a bus ticket.
Also, if you’re wanting to take photos of Camden High Street, the front of the upper deck is an excellent spot.
