Going to D's for all of my essential beauty treatments for over TEN years.
I must say having read some of the reviews on this site I am slightly concerned and very confused...
The customer service and attention to clients specific needs is fantastic and I often travel from to the city to Holloway to have all of my treatments done.
I have always received first class service from D in person and leave feeling refreshed energised and looking great (which isn't always easy :0)
D' S team offer a fantastic beauty experience and very affordable prices which is difficult given the challenging economic situation we find ourselves in.
I can't rate this Beauty Parlour highly enough and I always reccommed D's beauty parlour to family and friends.
Well Done to D, Claire and the rest of your fantastic team. Keep up all the hard work and I'll no doubt see you very soon !

We at Ds Beauty Parlour welcome everyone. We have unfortunatly had bad reviews from customers who have purchased promotional vouchers from the internet although the mojority have accepted our terms and conditions unfortunaltly we have had a few that have come in and tryed to dictate to us.
We are happy to accept all customers no matter how they come to us.
All our customers receive the same high standard and profesionism from us.
We do however have a zero tollerence policy where rudness and abusive customers will not be welcome.
This is for the safety and wellbeing of our staff other customers.
We want every customer to have a relaxed and pleasant and enjoyable treatment at Ds Beauty Parlour.

great service always so friendly, helpful and an all round enjoyable service and environment. complete rubbish from the person complaining as i know these girls know exactly what there doing and particularly never rude and are always very friendly. Hate to see a genuine company with lovely staff and a great service suffer from an obvious personal attack. keep up the great work and ill be booking a full leg wax again very soon. Jake

Had a similar issue to one of the reviewers below, where i was waxed over the same area till some skin came off, and the reason was that my hairs were 'coarse'. never had so much issue for a wax before, even my first time ever getting a wax was less painful than this! She also waxed OVER the clit, rather than along the sides which meant some seriously painful moments. The sides between my legs were very badly waxed, and that's the most difficult part to fix yourself! Again, this was on a Living Social voucher, and I may or may not return just to use up the voucher.
Also, calling to complain, or schedule your next appointment, is next to impossible. I have been calling every few hours for the past 4 days and I keep getting a voice message telling me to call back later.

We at Ds beauty parlour are shocked to hear this. The clit area is no where near where we extract the hairs. Please call us on 0207 700 5586 and speak to the manager.
As for you trying to call we have had problems with our phone that has now been fixed by our telephone service provider.
Make yourself known to us so we can discuss the situation also as you read previous message you would of seen the number clearly given for the shop and we have not received any call from you nor have you left a voicemail with a number for us to contact you.

Had a wax here that was awful, I'd bought a voucher from Living Social so not sure if they have a better service for customers paying full price, but the wax wasn't hot enough, they went over the same area so many times I was bruised, and tried to blame it on my 'coarse hairs'. I've had waxes before and my 'coarse hairs' have never been a problem before! When I left I had bits of wax still stuck to my legs which rubbed on my trousers so I had black fluffy legs when I got home and had to go over both legs with baby oil picking off the extra wax and plucking out hairs they had missed! Not impressed, wouldn't want to pay full price for such shoddy service.

I recently moved to the area and found a lovely beauty salon in the Nags Head shopping center. I had a few relaxing treatments and would recommend to friends and family. Really lovely place, I felt most relaxed and welcomed.

I love this place. Its small and quaint and the decor is to die for. With their chandalier and small chez longue the colours are calming and so is the atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and helpfull and there waxing skills are the best. All the staff work uniformed together. They have a wide range of beauty treatments. I just want to say a BIG thank you to the Manager who made my run up to my wedding perfect. My spray tan was so natural and my mum and my bridesmades to.. all of our make up lasted the whole day and everyone commented on how lovely we all looked. I will be in when i come back from my honeymoon. Claire thanks for calming my nerves x

I have been going to this salon for 5 years now all my family and friends go there to. The staff are lovely and the treatments are carried out professionally. I always look forward to the end of the month. After a disaster wax at another salon i was put at ease at d’s and have never looked back. Claean hyginic and professional :)
