Cafe Monte

Agree with the review above; great atmosphere and decor but dreadful service and food.  A real shame, because we gave this place a second chance tonight and thought the menu was creative, however we were sorely disappointed. Another customer stormed out because he was forced to wait (like us) for 40 minutes for his starter.  Incredibly embarrassing for the staff who spent the whole evening apologising to us and other tables. 

Icing on the cake was the home made bread, with a pot of flora!!!

Could be a great destination, however somehow they manage to make you feel cheated with every sorrowful, mouthful. 

Modern cafe in the middle of Munster rd. When the sun is out is the perfect spot for a quick breakfast of lunch although service is not the best, very friendly but short of staff and the only two people working are speaking in a foreign language very loudly which makes me personally feel uncomfortable. Food is poorly presented, I asked for the eggs benedict that were not well made, very salty, placed in a toast! And with spinach, kind of a mix between eggs fiorentine and toast :S also the waiter went happy with the pepper on top and the taste is nothing extraordinary for it to justify an overpriced menu. The deco and outdoor spaces of the place are pretty good and that's about it.
