was quite good as far as indian restaurants go. But no way close to the standard of the greats in the North of London or Bham or even Leic.

We have been to Spicy Affair on two occasions and were not dissapointed on either occasion.  The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is amazing.  Definitely the best indian cuisine we have ever tasted!!  I have just bought another Groupon for the Restaurant and will be going again soon, it's well worth the journey over from Hinckley! A great place for Indian food, but not obvious that it is there. If you like Indian food and live nearby, it’s definitely the best option around.

Review of Spicy Affair from 13 August 2011

We found this place via Qype and despite only having 1 review, we felt compelled to give it a go.
It currently has no front signage ( local councillors debating the price of coffee in the canteen instead of granting this poor bloke planning permission for a sign) so I will point out it is OPPOSITE the main POST OFFICE in Leamington spa.
We used Spicy affair as a stop over for food on the way back from Thorpe park and I’m glad we took the small detour off the M40. What a great place.
All the food is freshly prepared and whilst this may take slightly longer, it is well worth the wait. At the point of ordering, we were given the option of strength /flavour and spice…..something you simply cannot do when using a base dish in a pan. Needless to say the food was stunning, good portion sizes and very attentive staff.
We had the Tikka Masala( teenagers :) ) Chicken Nawabi and Dal Taaka( lentils). All good consistency and polished off quickly. The Naan Bread was light and not doughy as can happen in so many Indian restaurants.

It wasn’t as busy as I would have thought on a friday night but if justice has anything to do with it then it will succeed.
Councillors – sort your life out. Readers – walk past the other Indian’s on this street and venture in here. We live in Leeds and have our fair share of quality gaffs up here, none surpass this though.

We went for lunch with no idea what to expect. We were blown away with the exceptional food and service. The best INDIAN FOOD EVER!! Visitors will be truly amazed with the fresh, favourful food served in lovely surroundings!
