Review of Braugasthaus "Zum alten Fritz" from 13 November 2008

Apparently this is “the” spot in all of Rostock which I understood pretty well when I walked through the door. It has a great bunker (a tastefully decorated bunker that makes awesome beer) feel to it and all the tables are cozy with enough space to fill yourself full of many of their German delights.

Located on the Hafen, it’s a short walk from the hotels on the main street and you know it’s good when you see the Germans drinking and eating there as well. Apparently there is a “triple meat” plate with veggies and bratkartoffeln that is quite good…a colleague got it two nights in a row!
