Review of Metro Underground from 1 April 2013
Central station is situated more or less in the heart of Newcastle. Its very good location its practicaly in the central station (Mainline/National rail) The station is tired and dirty looking, trains are fairly frequent every 3 min at peak times and every 6-12 off peak.

Review of Metro Underground from 18 April 2011

Central Station (Metro station) Newcastle

+ Easy connection to Newcastle's main line station. Quite spacious. Helpful staff. The trains are frequent to the Airport and to other Tyneside areas.

- Can't buy a ticket with a debit card. Have to depend on the ticket machines.

∑ A good gateway to the Metro, pet.
