Poor management, the weight area is too small and always crowded, so forget lifting weights. It is a cheap gym and it attracts a certain group of customers, not able to return weights to the racks. Weights are all over the floor all the time. So many machines and only a small weight area which is in high demand. This gym is just not worth the money. The showers are filthy and not clean all the time.

The Gym Group Hounslow gym is in a central location (at the terminus of the H37 bus), open 24/7, with ample paid parking.
The membership costs £15.99 per month for a one-month contract (sign up online or using machines at the entrance) plus a £20 joining fee (students are exempt).
Although this gym is well equipped, with plenty of cardio machines, weight machines, free weights and associated free weight exercise equipment, you might find it impossible to use this gym in all but the most unsocial hours if you work a regular 9 to 5 job as it becomes extremely busy.
There are not many amenities beyond a changing room with showers and toilets, which is appreciated by many who simply want a gym as cheap as reasonably possible without the expensive frills.
As I mainly went to use the free weights I was often frustrated by the inability of members to return plates to their racks when finished with them, which often makes for a great deal of time spent hunting for the weights you need.
On price and length of contract this gym can't be bettered, but I would hesitate to join again unless I could go before work, when it is quiet and equipment readily available.

The gym is quiet spacious and the machinery are good. The gym is maintained neat and clean at all time. There is a small area for weight lifters, which i feel should have increased compare to other fitness areas in the gym. At the so called peak-time (18-21) it will be bustling and you will find it hard to find a place in weight lifting area except to that it is worth paying £15.99 p.m.

I only use it as its cheaper than Golds but the equipment is moderate. If you can afford it I’d use elsewhere. The staff are also unhelpful

great for the price lacks a few creature comforts like sauna etc… but all the weights and machines are all there + its 24hours and 7days a week.

Gym is ok, cheap for only 15.99 p/m
Machines in good order, however it takes some seroius time to fix it if broken.
No swimming pool and classes (areobic, step, ect.) But for price you are paying you have all machines you need to improve you fitness.
I would recommended to my friends.

Offensive content?
The majority of my gym use is during lunch time at the Vauxhall gym but living in Richmond I have every so often used the Hounslow (mainly in the evenings and at the beginning of my rehab).
Only been a dozen times or so but just as impressed with this one as the other. The circuit training is well worth getting involved in!
