LOVE THIS PLACE!

It is a 'gay club’ officially but welcomes everyone and it is great place to have a really fun (and cheap) night out. I always go on Thursdays where students get in for £7 and can have free drinks until 2am!!! (the club is open until 4!)

There are 2 rooms, one playing house- kinda stuff, the other playing chart-stuff early on in the evening, followed by some wicked cheesy classics later on into the night.

I love the atmosphere here, it is really relaxed and friendly and I always have a great time!

My only complaints are that you have to queue for ages to get a drink (especially before midnight when people are just arriving). Also, there are no quieter areas or many seats so it is pretty much a case of 'dance till you drop!’. However, the unlimited alcohol definitely helps you keep going!

This is supposed to be a gay bar but Ive heard alot of people call it 'DV-straight’ instead of DV8 because of the amount of straight people that go there.

We paid 7 or 8 pounds to get in and that meant that drinks were free all night. This was great because I didnt have to worry about money or spilling my drink etc.
Only problem is they ran out of vodka. Not so much of a problem though…we just switched over to whisky instead!

Theres a couple of different rooms and a courtyard for the smokers. Theres a few bars dotted around but they are all quite small so a bit hard to find through the people if you dont know the layout of the place.

Cloakroom only cost a pound and there was no que to put my stuff in there or to get it back.

There were some guys dancing on bars wearing only little pants. It kind of reminded me of some strippers bar in Prague! haha!

It was a fun night. I’d go back again.
