it’s surprising how many Korean restaurants you can find in Berlin. This one is a nice and simple place. The Bibimbap was good, but you had to pay extra to get it in a stone pot and with meat. At least they gave us free kimchi with the order, which is not normal in Germany. (In korea however you would get as much kimchi as you can eat for free in any restaurant)

I have been there yesterday. It makes you feel to get the real thing in terms of Korean food. It starts with the distinctive scent in the air. As it has been described before, there are still elderly Korean women cooking with lots of passion and seriousness in their faces. It’s the place to get the taste you like. The prices are okay. However, that doesn’t mean you can get easily full as you perhaps would in a similar sized Thai snack bar. Certainly Korean food and Thai food are as comparable as an apple is to a pear. CORE gives a good impression of a little restaurant, though being labeled a snack bar. Hence no toilette is available! Perhaps that’s something what needs improvement for the future.

Delicious, fresh, authentic and healthy food prepared by Korean ummas. Main dishes are about 6-8 Euros, small side dishes 1 Euro. No toilette!

Core was, quite simply, the best korean restaurant that I’ve eaten in for quite some while now. Fresh succulent food, served with a smile is generally what entices me to come back to a restaurant and I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Berlin!

Finally a decent Korean restaurant in Berlin! It’s hard to eat out healthily these days, but Core is one place that makes this possible. I’ve tried several of the menu items and loved them all! Having travelled to korea myself, I can vouch for the fact that this is as authentically Korean as you can get in Germany. Core is definitely worth a visit.

Authentic korean food, fresh, spicy, tasty and healthy. All dishes are made without additives and glutamate. Various meals for vegetarians.
