After using Karaman for several years have just discovered from the bank that rental payments have been sporadic and none have been forwarded since June-12. the website is now down and the owner is un-contactable. there have been no agent's statements for sometime.  Went to speak to the owner at Hutchison address and she sent her very young child to shield herself from anymore visitors.  it's now in the hands of the lothian police as a criminal matter.

Completely agree with review above from finlay 1888, this time from a landlord's perspective. Have rented my property with Karaman Lettings for two and a half years but have had enough of their unprofessional attitude and am seriously thinking about taking my business elsewhere. Yvonne is never available when needed; calls made to the office are never able to be dealt with there and then: the office number is no more than a message service which invariably is never followed up.  Simple requests are never actioned timeously but take a week or more of persistent phone calls and emails to be dealt with.

Absoluteley hopeless.

Complete lack of care for tenants and inattentiveness to their needs or concerns. Total lack of communication despite constant follow up. Only have satellite office which is unmanned at all times. Therefore messages will be passed and Yvonne will pick them as she pleases, if she pleases.

Yvonne clearly needs some back office support as she is unable to manage simple tasks correctly; such as setting up viewings. We had prospective tenants appearing out of the blue on three occasions without notice.

She also unfairly withheld deposit without any satisfactory reasoning. Nor could she (or would she) provide any receipt for this so-called 'cleaning'.

Steer well clear, landlords and tenants alike
