Probably Cork city’s second-best restaurant (after the Ivory Tower, which I haven’t been to but has a good reputation). The food is usually lovely, if sometimes a little overthought. The restaurant does have a great interior and the staff are pretty good.
The best thing about Jacob’s is that, while it’s definitely a relatively high-end restaurant, the prices aren’t too bad. You could get away with a three-course meal for two for under €80, which is pretty good.

Excellent service and wine list (Bit on the expensive side) and the sommelier is very helpful. The food was very good too ( i loved the basil and cracked black pepper ice cream) all in all worth a visit.

One of Cork’s poshest restaurants… my parents took me here for my university graduation. I felt I had arrived. It’s all very fancy, and the food is delicious. Attentive service also gives the place an added bonus.
