Boba Jam offers an excellent selection of teas, though I normally stick to my Matcha with QQ Jelly.
Taste-wise, I prefer Bubbleology (also in Soho) as they use real tea, I presume, not the powdered types used by Boba Jam, but I’m not that fussy. Bubble tea is bubble tea. :)
My friend had a bad experience at Boba Jam whereby staff was rude to her and asked her to leave because her friends who were with her did not order anything. This did put me off a little from returning, but after two consecutive bad experiences with Bubbleology, I am going to give Boba Jam another chance.

Small friendly shop with a wide variety of flavours. There's bubble yogurt, mint, juice and milk teas, its no wonder they offer a loyalty card.
And if you're so inclined they have the prettiest staff in China Town

I'm really addicted to bubble tea now and Boba Jam is really great. A drink will cost about as much as the other bubble tea joints in London. They have the largest selection of hot, bubble, juice, milk and yogurt tea I've seen so far. I went a kiwi juice and black tea combo with pearls. It was excellent and perfectly refreshing!
There were 2 staff in that day and only 1 of them spoke english but I'm sure you will be able to get by point what you want on the menu.
