I remember reading about this on Twitter the day it appeared, and running down the street during my lunch break so that I could take a look at it before it disappeared. I don’t know if it’s still there now, given how quickly other works by Banksy get buffed or painted over, and would love to find out from others if it’s still there as I no longer work in the area.

So nice to see this covered in plastic & preserved so everyone can see it :-) when I stumbled on it I was so thrilled to see it protected :-) I hope it stays

Clever - as always - adorable rat,his
paws still red with paint from the
graffitti (April 2011) It is great to
see Banksy back in Fitzrovia after
the previous one in our area : Dont Look Now was painted over
(see Banksy Fitzrovia)
Westminster Council are sadly committed to destroying this one too
