I stopped using this butcher due to rude staff, ignorant I thought. Meat ok though. I use Oakley Butchers up at Merley

Classic butchers, great for game. The fact that its always busy says it all. Why go to a supermarket for meat!

I too use Burton’s. Not only is the meat good but the young butcher is a Hottie….and friendly too!!

Burton is one of the disappearing shops from our High Streets - a butcher’s.
Wimborne boasts several specialist shops, but there are two butcher shops.
Burton is celebrating over a hundred years of business, and they do a great speciality of game; local duck, pheasant, partridge, as well as beef, Dorset Lamb and Somerset pork.
in addition home cooked ham, pork pies and they put together freezer packs to order.
This is all pretty good and saves on carbon footprints - I’m all for it. I wish we could see more individual shops again, and so I’m glad about butchers like these and local markets.
