love it there 100% mate! it is the only place i go on my travels around oz while working.. the people are great to get along with and the cafes put out great breakfast in every morning.. i wouldnt pick any other place around there 4 myself.. i always look forward to my stays there every time..
alisha66 Yes, I totally agree with you. I had same experience in Burleigh heads. Its famous for several alfresco restaurants, bars and cafes.

The Gold Coast feels like the beginning of everything; the sharp, clear light has touched nothing for a thousand miles until this sandy promontory merges with the ocean at Burleigh Heads. Here my favourite beach bar in all the world draws people for its awesome views and superb wine, food and music. Sit outside with your feet in the sand with a glass of Vasse Felix or Cullens, or inside beside the unbroken slab of mermaid-green glass which serves as the bar, and watch the surfers take the last waves while you order superb fresh snapper or some local ribs washed down with a fine Pinot Noir and know that you are in one of the finest places on earth.
