Update Hair Design

Terrible. If  you want to do anything other than over priced relaxer and treatment then this is NOT the place for you. I have gone to the salon three times and two out of the three have gone terribly wrong and I am not impressed. The first time I went I got my hair relaxed and cut. This was really nice and looked lovely apart from the sky high price (only take cash as well).

I grew out the relaxer and went back a year later for was a cut and colour. A year is obviously a long time. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they said they were unable to do it exactly like that because it was relaxed and my hair was natural (even though the story around the picture says the person had natural hair). Instead of suggesting an alternative e.g just a treatment they went ahead and coloured my hair as the stylist said she would try and get it close to the image. The colour was not exactly the colour I had ask for and I didn't like the cut but had to live with it. They also got the dye all over my clothes which I saw were ruined once I'd got home. I did get compensation for it when I went back to show them. Once again the price was way to high for a bad job and I spent most of the time afterwards wearing a wig.

I shouldn't have gone back but a last minute do required my hair to be done and this time I requested a wig cap. The end result looked great but the stylist had put the cap on my head without any protection and subsequently the tracks were glued to the cap and the glue had seeped though, gluing the whole thing to my hair (which hadn't been plaited underneath). I wasn't given any advice on after care, removing the glue etc. It was supposed to be something you could take off easily at a point, but it wasn't and removing it was not a fun experience. Totally ruined my hair. 

To top it off, I had brought someone else to do the same wig cap but with longer hair and feel really bad about that. Its a shame because I went there on recommendation from a lady who always has gorgeous hair however it's always relaxed and cut. 

At this salon: The basics or a relaxer, treatment and maybe a short cut are good

Everything else: Shameful 

I would not recommend this salon to anybody. I paid alot of maoney to have my hair coloured an instead it was destroyed. First of all the colour i showed the slylist was nothing near to wnat I hot and things just got worse from there. Spend your money and time elsewhere.
