Yes friendly and local but not very professional.
At a fitting of my wedding dress one of my straps kept 'popping' from the plastic press studs. After a fitting it was recommended another press stud.
Next dress fitting same thing happened, more press studs were advised and it was suggested if strap fails on the day to use a safety pin! I was not impressed with that comment.
On the day my dress let me down, the weight of the dress was too heavy, the straps would not hold even with safety pins. I ended up having to put the straps into a halter neck, but then the dress didnt fit right. Very disappointed. When all this was revealed to staff only comment received 'oh dear these things happen'. Bridesmaid dress had problems too. I asked for the dress to be taken in at the bust twice, but it still didnt fit right on the day and also a plastic press stud was missing from the panel at the back, so that didnt fit right either. Paid a lot of money for these dresses just to let us down on the day! You also have to pay for alterations! At least with this dress offered to put it right, but wasnt right for the day. Would not recommend - if there had been an apology or some recompense i may not be writing this.

All staff were extremely helpful and honest which is just what you need when looking for the perfect dress for your special day. They also do alterations so you don’t have to worry about going elsewhere for that. I purchased my wedding dress from here together with my 3 bridesmaid dresses. They provide an excellent service which I cannot fault. Would definitely recommend.

The staff in Masquerade are very friendly and helpful with a huge choice of bridal, bridesmaids, prom and ball wear. And the thing that I like most about this shop is the ENORMOUS room at the rear of the shop where you can really walk around and see all angles of the dress. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my occasion wear. Discounts are available if you are buying more than one dress eg. bridesmaids too and they also stock mens suits.
