The Rose Bowl

Previous reviewers have it on the knuckle!! Great venue in a great position in Hants. Outstanding design but for beauty you can’t beat Arundel!!
Always a bit of banter between Sussex and Hants, which makes it a pleasure to visit the Bowl.

A great facility with amazing views and top notch services. Staff are lovely and the architecture is fantastic. Unfortunately not a Hampshire fan so can't say the same for the team!

We were having a day out in Hampshire when we saw there was a 50 over day/night cricket match on at the Rosebowl between Hampshire and the Warwickshire Bears (my team), so we turned up and got tickets. It’s a really lovely ground. We watched the sunset around the trees and hills, and later it was atmospheric with the floodlights on. There are lots of concessions selling refreshments, and the portacabin toilets were clean and adequate. The ground was well signposted and we easily found parking in the field we were directed to. We’d heard reports of cars queuing for ages after matches, and left a little early (when it was clear there wasn’t going to be an exciting finish). But we had no problems. Maybe it’s different for international matches, but we’d happily go there again.
