And that's what I like the most. Adventure and bargain hunting. Getting a bargain doesn't feel as good if you don't make an effort.

Big Girl’s Blouse sells a range of items from the 40’s and 50’s both vintage and reproductions. You can find our stall at many of the top Rock’an’Roll and Rockabilly events throughout the UK.
A shop for bargain hunters, a bit like charity shops. You can get some amazing high quality items, esp. clothes if you have time to browse through and to come often. Some people dress only in TK Maxx and have designer clothes for a fraction of the price. We buy footwear only there. Generally, footwear section is our favourite. Yes, it can be a hit and miss, but it's up to you to make it an all time hit, as long as you have some time and patience to thrawl through the neat rows of clothes (some lovely shoppers leave clothes on the floor but it's quickly recctified.
I went to TK Maxx brances in different cities, and like Brodmead one the most. Recently it expanded which shows that it's doing well, even in the recession (or are we not in the recession anymore? Maybe, only offically) . You can also buy lovely chocolate boxes or homeware (beautiful clocks, mirrors, etc) there if you need a last minute high quality present. Also, look for price reductions which are real bargains. It'll defnintely be one of the first shops I'll visit on a Boxing day. Highly recommend.
The only tip for TX Maxx is to invest into more security cameras. I have seen so many empty cosmetic and perfume boxes with tags on with the actual item stolen. Once I saw old pair of shoes on the shelf which meant that the shopper walked out in a brand new one. Quite a lot of theft there, and rightly so. High quality items and not enough security. But, hey ho, if that suits them, then it's fine with me.
This is quite a good branch of TK Maxx because it’s never crazy busy and its quite tidy.
They have some good labels at this branch such as Fred Perry, diesel, Marc Jacobs, C by Chloe and Ollie & Nic. You just have to be willing to search. There is more women’s wear than men’s and a good selection of shoes for both sexes. The home ware section is nice too.
You can be sure to find a bargain!

Ok, so it’s hard work and quite unsatisfying most of the time to trawl through all the gubbins in this shop. But! This is one of the best TK Maxes I’ve ever been to. I have found a pair of D and G shoes here for £15 once. They are so amazing! A trip to Selfridge’s taught me the same pair of shoes would have set me back about £450 (okay, they would not have set me back so much, because I would not have bought them at that price). I have been very lucky with handbags here too and a pair of beautiful Charles Jourdan ankle boots cost me £7.50. If you are good at spotting quality, then you may well find something fabulous here!

This shop is pretty much hit and miss. It’s basically like a jumble sale, but selling new things. There is a little bit of everything in here…clothes, cosmetics, housey stuff, shoes etc. some known brand names and some not. You can catch some real bargains in here if you can be bothered with stepping over mess and sorting through the rubbish to find something good (and don’t mind being having jokes made at your expense fif a mate of yours sees you walking out of there!)
Obviously it’s also the kind of place you have to buy something on the spot, or you’ll never find it again.
