Fantastic place. The warm and cosy late 80s atmosphere and the tasty pastries are one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. An additional bonus is that the staff are very polite and friendly.

The home made cakes in a combination with the aromatic tea create a perfect taste for you. You can spend a really pleasant moments there, so don't hesitate to go there.

Really enjoyed tea here, it's really cosy and comfortable, the service was great and the cream tea delicious. The fact you have to ask where it is at the bar of the coach & horses and then go up some steps behind the bar makes it all the better.  Wouldn't recommend drinking too much champagne with your tea though as the steps/floor are all leaning.  A world away from the madness of central London and definitely recommended.

Fun and friendly though a little overpriced. Had the Victoria Sponge, which was yummy, but a little stale at the edges. Ambience is great and gives you a little of that golden age feel with classic tunes playing in the background. Overall, worth the odd visit with friends, but not a regular.

My girl adores this place. She is constantly speaking how the atmosphere makes here feel as if living in another century.

What is there not to love about this place? It’s quirky, it’s vintage, it’s oh so very 1940’s English! I love the fact that you’re made to feel part of an underground society…although I guess with the increased publicity now, it won’t be a secret for much longer.

The only downer was that my two scones were very doughy and not completely baked…but nonetheless served with beautiful clotted cream and homemade raspberry jam. It’s definitely to be recommended for a relaxed cup of tea away from the hustle and bustle of Soho!

Next time I’ll try the dinner menu.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, especially based on the other qype review…but on turning up we were asked if we had a reservation and told there was no way we would get a seat before 5pm (at 2.30pm). Disappointed and thirsty we left. So maybe phone before going to check.

Kitsch, cute and good value for money - full afternoon tea was amazing. Plus they have the exact same clock that my grandparents have on their mantlepiece. Classy. A truly hidden gem :)
