The next time I move I won't be worried anymore- I will hire exactly the same removal team, they were just fabulous! I've heard a lot of thing about how professional handy Moves are and they proved their good image to be absolutely true!

No stars!  Really awful removal company and I cannot say enough that if you want a professional and reliable move not to use them.  They were 5 hours late which caused all kinds of chaos but when I complained was met with a 'not our problem' we can never guarantee being on time.  Not very useful!  Even when costs were incurred by their delay (bearing in mind a move first thing in the morning had been booked) they told me they operate a no compensation policy.  A total joke.

As the review says above just stay clear!!!

Unfortunately, we had to move three times this year and I felt really exhausted. So, I just decided to trust a removal company. Thanks to some of the reviews here and a recommendation from a friend of mine, I have chosen the services of Handy Moves. I consider their services are rather efficient and perfect for anyone who have to move fast and easy. .I recommend them!

I used Handymoves to move forniture from my old flat to 2 separate locations. Friendly and efficient mover, well organized office to manage the booking and execution of the job.
Only a small issue with a slightly scratched shoes rack but I guess it's almost impossible to move all the forniture without even a small scratch.
Overall, good value for money. I would use the service again.

this was the absolutely worst service i have ever received. stole some things from the house and then the management spoke rudely to me and said it wasnt their fault THEIR employee stole.

DO NOT USE I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. i feel cheated and disrespected.

A couple of flatmates and I used Handy Moves yesterday to move a lot of furniture from one flat to another. The guys turned up 10 minutes early and were initially pretty worried that our lift wasn't working and our flat was on the 4th floor. They also noted that because of this it would probably take longer than the quoted 4 hours and were worried about moving all our items down a spiral staircase. After a bit of a patchy start we all pitched in and helped move the larger items (including two ridiculously sized wardrobes and 3 beds) down the stairs and into the van. I cannot fault the two guys they sent what so ever. They only took a break when we offered them a drink and kept on up and down the 4 floors to eventually get our 3 bed flat loaded into the van within 1 hour 45 minutes. They worked incredibly hard under the circumstances. The new flat had a lift which made things much easier and we managed to unload the van much more easily and well within the 4 hour timeframe.

I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews on this site. The guys we dealt with were friendly and moved our furniture as best they could. There are a few minor marks on furniture here and there but I know for sure that if we'd moved it ourselves there would be a lot more. These guys deserve a lot of praise for the work they do in difficult conditions like we had yesterday.

If you don't want to blow your budget on moving home and you aren't afraid to shift a few things to help the process along, these guys do the job.

I do not understand why anyone is wasting time to write clearly false comments about quite normal and really qualified company. We took the decision of changing our flat , because we both started work in another part of the city , but what was bothering us was that we are both very very busy and can not care for the removal! Here came our saviour Handy Moves, who gave us exactly the assistance we needed - all our luggage and furniture was extremely carefully moved and arranged according to our instructions to the smallest details. We have no words to express our gratitude! We recommend them strongly!

I've never been so appalled at such utter lack of service and total rudeness and uselessness. Booked for our house move, they turned up in the wrong vehicle - we'd got them permits as requested - the wrong team with the wrong notes (and a total lack of appropriate tools). Spent most of the time on the phone - one of them making angry personal calls. After 20 minutes they spoke to their office and LEFT because they "had another job on".  
We had to be out of the house in 2 hours and friends had to help us empty our stuff in to the street to avoid fines etc.

They then said they'd send another "probably" later that afternoon (it was 11.15) which was obviously no use. They then rang back and said that we'd told them to leave (!) - like you would with a house full of stuff to move! They then rang back again and said it was our fault for being abusive - we hadn't said a word!

They will try ANYTHING to avoid taking the blame, don't care and then ring continuously being abusive to my wife on the phone trying to make her pay for boxes they delivered that we'd specifically asked them NOT to. They don;t even have the courage to ring me.

Totally disgusting, totally unprofessional and a total rip-off.

We've alerted the ombudsman but please do NOT get caught by these cowboys. There's enough reviews on here to hopefully prove this to you.

We had a good experience with them on the day, they packed for 2 hours and moved us from one flat to another. However, several things went missing in the move, I believe an entire box from the kitchen was not unloaded from their van. I am missing a very large pan, a grill and other small items, this obviously made the move a lot more expensive than planned and made me quite unhappy. Not blaming the men, I understand they had a couple of other jobs to go to so in the rush they might have left my box and unloaded it somewhere else. I would not recommend this company.

Complete and utter rubbish.

Not going to write all the details but if your moving house the biggest vehicle is a mercedes high top and at a absolute push is suitable for a small two bed with limited furnishing.

Take little notice of the on-line survey it means little to this company and with the attitude of the management just pay a little extra and go with a proper company i wish we had.

BEWARE AND STAY CLEAR.
