following Klaus Nahr’s description, we chose this restaurant for an official business dinner. Quite a risk - but it was really fine:

The location is simply great: Directly at the beach. Just one tip for everybody who’d like to go there: It’s easier to be reached from metro station Barceloneta than from the one mentioned in the website.

Several menues at prices from € 30,00 - abt. € 65,00 are offered for groups. They differ in the variety of tapas served and the number of main dishes and desserts between one can choose as well as the quality of wine. Due to the fact that we’d like to have only 3 choices at the main dish, we decided to take the cheapest one and we’ve not been disappointed. The food was excellent, just the red wine to warm.

Quite nice that they have big mirrors at the wall so that those not facing the beach can have a llok at it, too.

Very funny thing: The lamps in the entrance area of the toilets are switched off automatically after a certain time… Not that nice when it’s completely dark at leaving the toilet….

Anyway, I can recommend it and would return any time.

Why 4 points? There’s only each one toilet for ladies and gents, this autmatically switched off lamp and the professional but not really friendly service made it very nice, but not perfect place.
