Peekaboo is an amazing store to pick up great vintage buys at affordable prices!
The store has a relaxed atmosphere, with a wide selection of beautiful clothing from all eras. I would definitely reccomend this store to all my friends…. the quality of the clothing is perfect, and with top designers such as Ossie Clark in store, you can find a real gem.
This is definitely a must-go-to store for fabulous vintage buys!

I came across this shop when I was in carnaby street and it was amazing the clothes were so well picked and and looked as good as new, I would most certainly come here again and bring my friends. Great quality clothes!

This shop is full, wall to wall, with the best condition vintage I have seen. Great vibe when you walk in, so bright and clean. The items look unworn, a great find!

I popped into this boutique over the weekend and I have to say it was a great find. I think it is important that the shop carries a good vibe and this definitely had one. The set up of the shop was really nice, the owner clearly pays attention to detail. As for the clothes they stocked (e.g. Ossie Clark, Biba) were an acceptable and affordable price.
This is a great place to go to if you love investing in designer vintage pieces or just love thrifting!

I admit, I wasn't in a shopping mood when I popped into the new Peekaboo Vintage shop. It sits like it's been in the area for years, I didn't realise it had only been open a few days. Perfect branding for the area.
But my goodness, it's vintage-by-numbers and unfortunately the Topshop concession gives this brand a certain smugness, and a massive price tag to boot.
I get that good vintage is worth paying for. Pristine vintage is something that should be treasured, unique items are pricey. Simply put, if it's great vintage it comes with a hefty price tag. But I just don't think Peekaboo should be as expensive as it is.
Everything in the window looks amazing, but if I'm looking at a 60s dress that's £200 and isn't Biba, I'm going to turn around and go elsewhere. Which is actually what I did. There are some really amazing vintage shops in London. Peekaboo basically appeals to the lazy vintage shoppers. Lazy vintage shoppers with way too much money, and not enough sense to have a rummage around in a shop themselves.
Of course, because it's in the Newburgh Quarter it'll do brilliantly, but I'll be in a local vintage shop searching for the perfect 60s shift dress for under £50.
