A typical seaside theatre with all the usual pantomimes, productions and live entertainment you might expect. Doesn't usually attract any 'A' list big names (they can be found at the BIC), but nice and a lot smaller too.
Fairly outdated now but lots of fond memories of childhood panto's etc. and a large car park right outside so very handy.
Located right in the centre of Bournemouth with plenty of restaurants and shops around so handy to combine with an evening meal if you are visiting for an evening or weekend.
This venue has a good variety of shows all year round and many famous names visit. There is good parking just outside. The Pavilion has been renovated in recent years and the seating is comfortable either in the stalls or balcony. The stall slope gently but there is a good view from all seats. Worth ordering interval drinks before the performance as the bar can get crowded.

We went to see Dionne Warwick last week at the pavilion. The acoustics were very good but we sat in row J in the stalls and I had to keeping moving my head sideways to be able to see anything. The person in front of me wasn’t particularly tall but there isn’t a rake on the seats. It was very disappointing because we had paid a lot of money for the tickets. The seats were very comfortable and the legroom was ok. I like the atmosphere and décor of the theatre. The toilets were very clean – it has been completely updated recently.

I love visiting the Pavillion theatre whether it is to see the popular pantomines or the local school production. The accoustics are brilliant and the ambiance is super. The place is always clean and the staff friendly. The refreshements at the kiosk and the bar tend to be quite pricey so I would recommend you buy beforehand. The theatre boasts its own car park but it gets very very busy and you have to pay. Very often you can park on the adjacent roads which is more cost effective. I would fully recommend a visit to the Pavillion and remember to dress up as it’s a lovely old fashioned venue!

I have been to the Pavilion since I was a kid watching pantomimes and now I go to concerts, opera and other events. The building hasn’t changed much over the years, but runs beautifully and has great appeal and charm. The acoustics are good and viewing is spot on. I always enjoy coming here and there is always a good variety of shows throughout the year.

This is a single theartre, not a complex.
This lovely old theartre has a lot of chacter and charm. It is faily large, accommadating around 600 people.
Back stage are plenty of changing room - my daughter has performed here.
The accoustics are good, and frankly I’d come here to see any gig, or play. It has a great atmoshere. There can be quite a bit of walking for the loos etc, but the cafe is worth a visit.
I’m not too sure about disabled access, so phone in advance.
