The Swan is a classic country pub with everything you would hope for - beams, roaring log fires and a warm welcome from the friendly landlord and landlady and the bar staff. This pub has loads of character.
The food is classic pub food, at good prices and a high standard (home made, not delivered and microwaved) available in the day and evenings.
There is a separate function room at the back where live music events (bands and a regular jam night every Sunday) are held. This gives the bands enough space and keeps them out of the way of the main pub for those who want to drink or eat without music . The Swan gets some great bands and people come from far and wide for these.
There is a car park round the back. Well worth a visit for a meal, the live music or a pint in lovely traditional surroundings.
