I never noticed this place before tonight, probably because it’s really small (max 20 people). We passed by, decided that fish would have been a good idea for dinner, looked at the great reviews and ratings and decided to check it out. The service is really friendly, meticulous and funny, and the food was delicious – we had the Mix-Grill and Mix-Grill deluxe, with appetizers, salad and Bratkartoffeln. I think this is a bit of a hidden gem in Feldstraße – a sort of Astra Stube in the restaurant/inbiss category :) – definitely worthy of a visit,aye before a club night at Uebel & Gefährlich. I’ll definitely come back to try the Fisch im Brot, some other guys ate it and it looked really tasty.
UPDATE: I came back the other day and tried the Fisch im Brot and it was awesome!!! This is gonna be one of my favorite places, even because it’s basically 30 seconds away from my place.

Great fish, great location, great price! We had an absolutely fabulous lunch here, spending 6,50 eur for a selection of 3 fresh fish fillets, a tasty dressed salad, and damn fine fried potatoes.
The bistro is cozy, friendly, and easy to reach via U-bahn (U3). We sat down, and enjoyed the atmosphere and smells eminating from the open kitchen. After 10 minutes we were presented our lunch, a delicious chunk of salmon, see bass fillet, and Coley, a tasty lemon and olive oil dressed salad, just enough fried potatoes, and a dollop of tartar, and a basket of freshly toasted bread. All for 6,50!
The cook was friendly, delivered the dish to us personally, and all in all, the best lunch we had in Hamburg!
Just grab the U3 to Feldstrasse, cross the road, and turn to your right, and have the perfect fish lunch!

The fish here is amazing. I recommend the mixed grill which comes with three different fillets a salad and potatoes for 9€. The salad is really good too because they actually use green leaf lettuce, a welcome change from the iceberg lettuce used at 99% of the other places in Germany.

very casual little restaurant. designed like a mix between a kebab takeaway and a paris cafe it actually works really well. Reasonable prices and the food was very tasty. Recommended for a quick informal dinner.

Very good. I was planning a trip to the UK and suddenly wanted "fish and chips".I stumbled across this address in Qype and found a coupon for a fish platter. It was great. Everything fresh. The salad was delicious. The service very friendly. Very small and casual with tables inside and on the sidewalk. You have to look for it across the street from the Feldstrasse U-Bahn. And no tourists as there are down at the harbor.
Try it, you'll like it!
