I have used First Strike Electrical for all of my electrical work for many years now and i have always been happy with them. They have shown enthusiasm and professionalism every time they come and the quality of their work is always great. They have done many small jobs such as fitting an extra socket in my hall, but they have also done a bigger job of installing new lighting throughout my flat. One thing i particularly appreciate is how they clean up afterwards, a rarity among tradesmen! I definitely recommend them.

Amazing, called casually about a job, and 2 and a half hours later everything is fixed, with utmost politeness and minimum of fuss. Would highly recommend and if I ever have a problem in the future they’ll be first on my list of people to call.

ALEX STEIN pretends to be a big company, but he’s a lone electrician. Take a look at his website – all those phone numbers, pictures of vans, ‘out of hours’ service. Then look at his address. I needed a PAT test done urgently (on a Sunday). I was grateful he could do it. He told me the price is £49 + VAT for half an hour. I needed it done, so I agreed. So he tried his luck by saying the minimum charge is one hour. On arrival, he told me the job would take no time. Then he wasted time by writing at the speed of a four year old, in an attempt to get into the second hour. He charged me £98 + VAT then dropped his bombshell. A PAT test is like an MOT. All you need is a certificate and stickers to say you’ve passed. He had no stickers and had never heard about the certificate. He said I could buy some stickers from any electrical shop. He wasted my time and stole my money. I told him if he cashed the cheque I’d report him (which I will). He may be a qualified electrician for all I know but he DOESN’T DELIVER what he advertises and, by his own admission, he is expensive. POINTLESS. AVOID HIM and his multi-national ‘company’. I had the test done later that day by a professional and at a fraction of the cost. DO NOT TRUST ‘FIRST STRIKE ELECTRICAL’ HE JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY.
