Lovely comfortable old Inn with good friendly staff and a popular bar for good food and drink. Comfortable room and free wifi too. Good parking, next to the steam railway station and overlooking the village square, so well placed.

This is a very characterful 15th Century Inn and the rooms are appropriately quirky. My single room wasn't en-suite but did have a shower. I was very pleased to find the hotel has free wifi for guests and the real ale in the bar was very well kept.

I had a nice starter and a butternut squash and goats cheese risotto in the restaurant and enjoyed the food very much.

As this Inn is right in the middle of Corfe it is ideal for exploring the beautiful castle which is just outside the pub and rises over the garden of the inn.

We had a fabulous roast dinner here on Sunday (roast beef, yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, carrots, green beans and wonderful gravy). Very old and atmospheric surroundings. Good view of castle from the garden.
