AVOID. As soon as I stepped foot in this shop, I was ignored by the only other available assistant who then struck up a conversation with another customer who was already being seen to - after I tried to ask for help in having my watch looked at - which I bought from this shop in September - I was then accused of being rude at least three times and was told that "I'm speaking to a customer of mine". So I was not considered to be a customer? The other two less than positive reviews here are spot on in terms of being judged how you look and the poor customer service  - after the watch battery was replaced, the assistant actually ran away when I had yet to ask for the links to be taken out. I was corrected by saying they were not actually links! I had had enough of being insulted by both assistants and simply asked for my watch back saying that I'd like to take it to another jewellers. After categorically saying that I was not being rude, an insincere apology was made though both assistants were rude and sarcastic to say the least - including the one who didn't even eventually serve me - thankfully another jeweller in the area kindly fixed the watch without any problems whatsoever. They could not wait to get rid of me from the shop quickly enough and I could not wait to leave quickly enough...There are plenty of professional and courteous jewellers a little further afield in Beckenham without dealing with the unnecessary antics and sourness experienced here.

I wouldn’t usually write a review however i live in Beckenham and use this jewellers quite regularly for various things and couldn’t have a more different review, my experience of this down to earth, family run business has been nothing but helpful and friendly – oh & reasonable!

I would also say AVOID. I handed in a brown Tissot ladies watch to be repaired in December 2010. After several calls I was finally told that the watch maker broke the dial. The watch would now be sent to Switzerland to be repaired.

As I said before I handed in a brown Tissot rock watch on Wednesday I went to collect my repaired watch only to be given a grey Tissot watch. Grey face, grey strap. I’ve refused it. Watch this space.

AVOID. I've used this place a couple of times and I won't be again. I seems that their pricing is based on how you look: each member of my family has popped in for a new battery on the same watch and been charged differently. More recently, their customer service yesterday could be described as unsatisfactory to say the least.
