Having never taken my camera off the Auto setting, I was thrilled to leave the Andreani Photo Workshop with a deeper understanding of the equipment.  I would recommend this workshop for anyone who enjoys capturing all those special moments, on "film"

I attended Mark's beginners course in Greenwich and found it to be extremely helpful and informative.  Mark is very patient and attentive, and provides examples to explain the course content.
The notes are comprehensive without being a bulky package to carry home too.
Mark also gives really good feedback on photos taken.
Whilst I had always enjoyed taking photos, I had never taken a course, and so was a complete beginner.   I found that my knowledge and ability to view perspectives, and landscapes, expanded vastly because of Mark's course.
I really enjoyed the afternoon and hope to join the intermediate course, after a bit more practice!

Cracking workshop, I had read books on beginners slr photography however still struggled to put in practice. Mark really helped me turn theory in practice and most importantly I have since taken some shots that I am very pleased with and wouldn't have been able to take prior!

Perfect workshop for someone who is learning to use the DSLR. Mark's in depth knowledge of photography really helps you to get the basics right which is essential for those perfect shots. I would highly recommend this workshop and look forward to future ones.

This was the first course I have ever attended and I am delighted to have picked Mark's beginners course. Mark was very patient and went through all the basics which has changed my outllook to taking pictures. The course material were really good and easy to follow. I will highly recommend Mark's beginners course .

If you want to get your head around the basics of using a DSLR camera, then Mark's your man. The course was the perfect length of time and I went away happy in the knowledge that I could turn the dial on my camera away from auto and take some pictures that would be worth keeping.

Thanks you Andreani for a fantastic workshop. It was just right. I went from knowing almost nothing about photography to feeling excited about taking pictures and trying new things. I will never use the auto again! In the 3 hours we  covered all the basis and Andreani made sense of all the technical terms. Clearly a very knowledgable tutor who can dessimanate it to all levels including a complete beginner. 
Overal a very enjoyable experience.

Would definitely recommend Mark to anyone wanting an introduction to DSLR. Even though the course is only 3 hours long, his clear and concise tuition helps to de-mystify the art of digital photography and break it down into its simplest terms. His warm and approachable manner mean that you feel comfortable asking him the most basic questions and he also gave individual instruction when it came time to take some practise shots, offering practical advice on what works best in different enviroments and settings.

This beginners course was brilliant. I have been on a few courses now and I felt that this was the best one, because I learnt so much more in this workshop. I came away feeling that I had really benefited from Mark's experience and knowledge. I feel inspired to go out and produce some really great photos (I hope!). I would recommend this class to anyone who really would like to get to grips with SLR photography. Thank you Mark for a great day.

Hi Mark, I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the recent class I did with you in Greenwich.  The class was small and the information was explained really well and I did not feel rushed or stupid about asking very basic questions.  I would defiitely recommend doing a class with Mark, he is very relaxed and has an easy-going manner, a good sense of humour.  The class is informal and I will defiintely be recommending it to my friends and I will be doing more classes later this year! The beginner's SLR course was fantastic - I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot more than I was expecting to. Mark takes the group through at a good pace and there is a perfect balance of technical information and time to practise on your own. We were also able to spend time inside and outside using our cameras and Mark was on hand to give feedback and tips in a friendly manner while letting you get on with trying out different techniques. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to understand how their SLR works and some basic guidelines on how to become more in control of your camera - no more auto focus!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and learnt a lot about my camera and the essentials in understanding photography. Mark was great; a cool and friendly character who certainly knows his stuff. Involved a lot of theory and an element of practical application of that theory.

Mark, you said that it was great to take a portrait shot of a handsome and photogenic subject (me)... or something like that. Drop me a line if you want to give me some work, as I’ve always fancied myself as a model (albeit a short one).

This course comes with my full recommendation for anyone in the early stages of understanding their SLR. I certainly look at other courses with Mark.

I attended the beginners course a few weeks ago and I have booked onto the Intermediate course.  Mark was a fantastic teacher and suddenly technical terms started to become a lot clearer.  I would highly recommend his course to anyone getting started in DSLR photography!

Excellent - Mark achieved an ideal balance between technical and artistic guidance, quickly established a rapport in a group of differing skills and requirements and left us all much better informed and eager to practise our new skills.  If you've bought or been given a DSLR you should go to this workshop.
