“Welcome to The Ealing Park Tavern, hidden away in the South Ealing suburbs. The wood, brick and whitewash exterior, reminiscent of something from a Harry Potter movie, holds many a tale and now we are looking to put our own stamp in the gastro pub...” more...

Had the Ceasar Chicken Salad as a main and got something that woud not pass as the leftovers of a starter at another pub! Then we waited over an hour for the other 3 mains which were cold when they eventually arrived. Nice place, nice vibe, but please sort out your clueless kitchen!
This is a half decent pub. The beer garden really makes it (it’s huge!). Annoyingly they had no ale on last night so i had to resort to drinking foster. Bleh. The interior of the pub is also very dark and not very well decorated (in my opinion). Nevertheless, staff were very friendly and the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious, so i will come back.
Review in one line: Not the best, but not the worst pub on Acre Lane.

The Hope and Anchor is a bit of a hidden gem. If you like to loaf in with leather sofas and a laid back atmosphere, this is one to check out.
The beer garden is massive with an outside bar area and a tree house/drinking den - although get here early to nab it as it’s very popular.
A number of people have recommended the food to me but can’t really comment as I haven’t tried it, yet.

Although not an area I’m too familiar with this pub is quite a good one. Very spacey, reasonably cheap and a suitable range of drinks available. The beer garden is massive, so great for those sunny afternoons throughout the seasons. There’s a bar upstairs called Myth, which I didn’t go to, but it is open until 2am so you don’t really need to venture anywhere else.
