Review of Pooh Corner from 25 August 2009

This is one of those places that you discover and wish you had known about before. The shop is packed with Pooh stuff and the Tearoom in snug and quaint. They have local icecream and clotted cream teas. The Tea Garden is delightful when the sun is shining. They sell guide maps and an illustrated booklet to all the real Pooh Places. These places are on the nearby Ashdown Forest. The village of Hartfield has a general store and two pubs as well!

Review of Pooh Corner from 30 October 2008

Although there is a fair selection of Pooh memorabilia the cafe is unwelcoming, the food unimaginative & pricey. A touristy rip off. Went once & would never go again. Their are plenty of good pubs around and good cafes in Forest Row (B2110) & PerryHill Orchard are opening one in their Farm Shop (B2026).
The whole area is fantastic for walking and the Pooh Bridge (Free) is in a delightful setting but the bridge its self is not quite the same since they rebuilt it.
Other local attractions - Ashdown Forest Visitor Centre, Excellent toy shop in Forest Row with proper toys not plastic !, Ashdown Forest Llama Park, Standen NT, Groombridge Place.

Review of Pooh Corner from 21 September 2008

The place to go if you are interested in Winnie The Pooh!

This shop has anything and everything you could possibly want with Pooh on. It seels books, cuttlery, sweets, clothing and much much more.

It is a good place to go to first if you intend visiting/finding Pooh’s Bridge which is just down the road. You can buy a leaflet giving details of where to park and how to get to the bridge. And they also sell the “Official Pooh Sticks Rule Book”!

There is also a coffee shop which is very handy as it’s about the only place in the village to get a drink or cake other than the two pubs.

There is also a toilet tucked away at the back, and if you have children in your party and are heading off to Pooh Bridge, then I would suggest making full use of this facility as there is nothing at all at the Bridge.

Templar I collect Tiggers!

Steaders Then you should visit this place!
