My family and I have visited this place quite a few times now and never been dissapointed. Standard admission costs £5 per adult and £3.50 per child (aged 3-16 inclusive). A family ticket, covering 2 adults and up to 4 children cost £17. They have a brand new soft play area which costs an extra £1 per child for half an hours play. One of the highlights for my kids is the outside trampolines and discovery sand pit.

This is a lovely little place, a great day out for all the family. Lots of animals to see, an lots to learn. they’re upgrading it all the time so it just keeps getting better and better.
They do lots of special activities, Christmas Fayres, Easter, all year round really.
they have soft play for toddlers and a new bigger area for older kids.
It’s got a great little cafe too with friendly staff and good food.
It really is worth a visit, you will undoubtedly learn something and have fun while doing it.

Really found this a good day out - wide range of activities and various play areas (indoor and out) for my son. You do have to pay extra for the main soft play though. Train was not running when we went, unfortunately (but it was a Falkirk public holiday, not a West Lothian one). A really good mix of fun and education too.

A Great day out for all ages and so cheap. Only £5 for adults, £3.50 for children. Open everyday except Christmas & Boxing Days. It is a case of so much to do & so little time. It is almost impossible to list it all here and their website is awful so you will just have to go & see for yourself !!
The museum is almost a day out in its self with loads of interactive displays to keep all amused, educated & interested. There are a good selection of farm animals with informative handling sessions. A friendly, reasonably priced cafe and also plenty of indoor & outdoor picnic areas.
There are ducks, chickens, river walks, tractor rides, an old Mill, indoor play areas, outside adventure areas, trampolines, an amazing undercover archaelogical sand pit where you can unearth old bones & other treasures, mini tractors, a small gift shop which included some pocket money souvenirs, soft play area, narrow-gauge railway and a whole lot more.
A day is not enough and it is tremendously good value.
I believe they cater for groups and children’s parties. There are also various events through out the year.
We will definately visit again

This is a great family day out. we went about this time last year, as well as all the animals to see, there is a play area, a picnic area, a shop, trampolines and for Halloween there was a ghostly treasure trail, the kids had to find the ghosts and copy the pattern from their ties onto the activity sheet they were given at the start and then take the completed sheet to the shop on the way out for their prize, the kids loved it and we spent a good few hours going round the whole place.
