Whatever you do, DO NOT buy any food here. The restaurant by the dodgems (carvery at the front, up the few steps to the fish+chips etc.) is staffed by braindead half man half woman creatures who will keep you waiting an eternity then serve you food you haven’t requested, then when you go to complain you get met with rudeness, and come away having handed over money for nothing, still hungry and having to go elsewhere for your food.
Other than that, it’s a reasonable enough fairground, kids love it, but it is very costly and there are all the usual gimmicky rip offs (£3 games like chucking darts to score over 10, hook a duck etc., way over priced scams where you get a tiny worthless toy instead of the larger ones on show), log flume was faulty last week and out of action, yesterday it was back up and running but the new £2 a go dryer afterwards is a complete waste of £2 as it doesn’t actually dry you.
I used to love going here when I was a child especially the large roller coaster that is there. This used to be a right treat if we went here for the day. Nowadays though they have wristbands that you can purchase for a certain price and this then enables you to go on all the rides as many times as you want all day without paying anything else. With having three girls this works out alot cheaper rather than buying single tokens.
This is a must to visit if you’re visiting Great Yarmouth. It’s very popular in the summertime and people of all ages love it. There are many rides to suit all ages whether it’s the fast adrenaline rush or a childrens ride, they have them all.
Parking is not a problem as there is a massive car park on the other side of the road and it’s not too badly priced.
Food on this park though is quite expensive so I’ve always packed up a picnic which makes the day even more cheaper.

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach was the main highlight of my childhood summers, and I still make an annual pilgrimage, much to the disgust of those I drag along. The roller coaster featured in a Madness video (can’t remember if it was Baggy Trousers or House of Fun!) is still open and fully functioning, even if it does sound and feel slightly dangerous. There are rides for visitors of all ages, which all operate on a token system, meaning you only pay for the rides you want to go on. In all, a brilliant, old-fashioned theme park with awesome rides and even better memories.

Although it can get quite exspensive, it is still a good day out and a must visit if you are here on holiday. The rides are old but still fun, particulary the rollercoaster which had been around forever, be sure to get your photo!!

Found this to be great fun but expensive if you are a parent with children. Better to get an all day wristband if you don’t mind spending £13+ for each child. I have been going to Gt Yarmouth for many years and can’t believe its still the same wooden roller coaster, we love it!! Recommend you sit at the back as you get whisked over the drops rather than lowered if you are sat at the front.
Situated bit of a walk out of town but right next to a beautiful stretch of beach, a lovely fish and chip shop across the road and theres plenty of parking nearby.
You can’t visit Great Yarmouth without visiting the pleasure beach.

Just over the past couple of years they have introduced the wrist bands back so that means you only pay once and go on the rides all day. If you do not purchase a wrist band then the individual rides can be quite expensive.
They have a good selection of rides for both adults and children.
Its a great day or evening out in the summertime for any family.
Parking is really easy too but best to get their early to avoid waiting for a space. The parking though can get expensive if you’re wanting to spend a whole day there.

Be prepared to spend some money here!! I would def recommend that you buy the wristbands here as the tokens don’t last very long at all. If you go inside and buy them you get an extra 5 when £20 is bought. Some of the rides are very old but the kids will still love it
