I’m intrigued that within 2 days (23rd July and 24th July), the Fittleworth store has sold 4 sofas, the buyers of which have all managed to post reviews on Qype ….all seems very suss to me! Suspect most of these reviews have been written by Sofas and Stuff themselves!! Beware!

We're delighted with our comfy Helford sofa and chairs - purchased from the Eridge showroom. Once we found a stripey fabric by our longstanding favourite - Designer's Guild - we knew it would make a great combination. There was a huge range of other fabrics for comparison! The people (and dogs) were friendly and the delivery service excellent. The sofa and chairs look wonderful in our lounge. Would happily buy more from Sofas + Stuff in the future.

Having previously purchased an Allwinton sofa from Sofas & Stuff earlier this year, we revisited their Fiittleworth showroom looking for another sofa to replace an older one. We had no hesitation in going back there as the staff are so helpful and there is a large choice of sofas to view and sit on, all of which are of the highest quality.
This time we purchased a large Houghton sofa and are delighted with it. It looks lovely and is so comfortable and large enough to fully lie down on! Delivery was prompt and without problem.
We would thoroughly recommend Sofas & Stuff to anyone looking for a new sofa.

We've been looking for the right sofa for a tricky space in our kitchen for ages and saw the Clavering on a chance visit to the Fittleworth (Sussex) showroom in May. Mandy was very helpful and patient with our order and I can't thank Livvy enough for sorting out the delivery. Now it has arrived, I can see it was the perfect choice - it has only been here for a few days and someone seems to have been stretched out on it almost the whole time! Thank you - and especially for the excellent customer service.

We visited the Eridge showroom: the staff were very helpful and polite (understanding of three lively children) despite our procrastination and revisiting of the quotes. Our sofa arrived when promised and the delivery men were very efficient and tidy (despite the torrential rain). The sofa is wonderful and was much admired by friends. Very pleased we bought our (Hambledon) sofa.

Wonderful showroom in converted stables (I think) in Fittleworth, great staff - friendly and helpful without being at all pushy. they just left you to browse but were there to answer any questions and make useful suggestions. Their sofas are just beautiful and quality like no other.
They really are good value for the quality. My sofa is GORGEOUS and so happy with it - cushions in the different fabrics and patterns look amazing - couldn't be happier! Sofa was also ready and delivered about 3 weeks before it was due which was great too!
Will definitely be returning to Sofas & stuff when I'm wanting any more sofas, chairs or beds - great little find!

Well, I can only praise the whole experience! nothing like going to one of the large chain outfits. I have been looking at sofa's for years and to be greeted with coffee and allowed to browse and sit on every sofa without feeling awkward was superb. I wanted to buy something made in the UK and had no difficulty at all.
I am a nightmare customer, hugely indecisive and talk too much. Mandy was patient, knowledgeable and very welcoming. I even went home to fetch a spare piece of carpet to check if the colour would go, and spent hours looking at samples for the cushions. Email and phone contact were both excellent., with the sofa ready in six weeks from the order being made.
Sophie was extremely helpful with regard to delivery dates as I was away with work, the delivery company text 2 days before with a time slot and arrived perfectly on time. It took less then half an hour to remove one and install the new Stourhead...amazing. Great guys.
Perfect timing, as working from home for a couple of weeks........in fact, it's very difficult to get off it as it is so comfortable!!
Will definately purchase from them again and would thoroughly recommend them. Pain-free, quality product and quality experience.

We recieved our sofa last week and its much better than expected! It looks amazing and the quality is like nothing else that i have seen in a sofa (we have been looking for a long time!). After having been very uninspired after visiting the large High Street sofa chains we visited the Sofas and Stuff barn showroom in Fittleworth in June.
We had a good idea of which style of sofas we wanted and as soon as we walked through the door we had spotted the one, however on looking around the showroom there were several styles which really jumped out.
We were greeted by Mandy who was fantastic, she seemed to have all the time in the world for us, no pressure and very knowledgable. She talked us through the two types of sofas in which we were interested and the options available to us and then helped us with the huge range of fabrics on offer.
We went away to think about the options and returned the following weekend when we ordered a sofa and an armchair which were completely different to the style which we had first imagined. Again Mandy had so much time for us and have to say she is a fantastic asset to Sofas and Stuff (her colleague, although we did not deal with her, seemed equally friendly and knowledgable too).
We were told that the delivery date was in five weeks and exactly five weeks later the sofa and armchair arrived here at the cottage. The delivery men gave a slot of between 0930 - 1130 and at 1030 they arrived, unwrapped the items, placed them where I asked, set both the sofa and armchair up beautifully and cleared the small amount of mess.
The sofa and armchair have been here for a week and we are so pleased! They are exactly what we asked for, so well made, comfortable and look just perfect next to the open fire.
I would have absolutely no hesitation about using Sofas & Stuff again, I would recommend them wholeheartedly to any of my friends or family who are looking for gorgeous, quality items from a very professionally run company.

Extremely satisfied with the purchase of my king size portello bed and mattress.Looks beautiful in my bedroom.Both my husband and myself enjoying a good night sleep.

The delivery of our new sofa and two chairs were delivered just 20 mins late, but the delivery people had the courtesy to phone to let me know. They were very helpful and even removed our old suite into our garage. The new suite is lovely, fits perfectly in our little cottage. Its well made and so comfortable. Also just to say I was not comfortable with ordering on line so we visited a barn showroom in Fittleworth where the staff were very friendly and helpful, making the experience a pleasure, especially for my husband, who has a dislike to sofa shopping.

I would recommend Sofa and Stuff to anyone and the great thing is you don’t have to buy on line you can see the actual products which I found the most assuring. I had firstly selected a sofa on line but that changed when I saw the actual product in their showroom.

I bought a fantastic leather settee and two beds from Fittleworth Branch , 100% satisfaction and the staff were excellent and truly patient .
The transport and deliveries were on the due day and on time and the delivery staff were excellent .
Altogether a pleasant way to spend money with a company who lived up to all its promises ,quality , delivery and frendliness, such a rare treat these days !

We visited the West Sussex showroom one wet Sunday in June . The service in the showroom was excellent. Coffee provided and the staff answered all our queries with knowledge. We placed an order for 2 sofas.
The after care was frustrating as our email and home address had been written incorrectly on the invoices and order despite me spelling our surname and address .It took two further attempts to get it right..
I also ordered some extra material which was sent a metre short .I was told that the showroom ordered the material by phone and either someone had written it down wrong or they had said the wrong quantity, neither was my fault..initially said they would order me the extra metre.I pointed out that I needed it in one piece .This was rectified but meant I had to wait for the correct amount and then had to return the first roll back to the show room which was a 30 mile journay
The sofas have arrived , very comfortable, and just what we wanted. The delivery men phoned when they were 30 minutes away and were very friendly and accommodating . I was overall very pleased with my experince with sofas and stuff. Just need to concentrate on small details which can niggle a customer.

I came across Sofas and Stuff via the internet and decided to visit the Hungerford show rooms. I was slightly frustrated in getting to the show rooms as it is in the middle of nowhere and the suggested landmark on the map (a local pub) had been closed and boarded up.
However, the lady in the show rooms and the quality that was there more than made up for it. After a couple of hours of looking, chatting about materials, sizes and experimenting with what represented the best "floppable sofa". I had a good idea as to what I wanted.
I decided to go away and have a think about it but within 48 hours I had placed my order. I was given a delivery date of six weeks time. Sofas and Stuff kept me well informed of progress and delivery dates and then I got a friendly email from the courier company. They were also great from beginning to end - they completely understood that I needed a 20 minute warning when they were en route which they did, I also got an email the day before giving me a two hour window (refreshingly different from these companies who cannot be bothered to give a time frame).
The delivery men were early in fact but did call as I mentioned, I couldn't believe how quickly they put the sofa together and took all the packaging with them.
I was impressed from beginning to end and would thoroughly recommend Sofas and Stuff to anyone who wants to buy a quality sofa but doesn't want to pay outrageous prices.

We have had the most wonderful experience with Sofas & Stuff. We could have bought any of their sofas and been happy, from visiting their showroom in Berkshire to choosing our sofa with their really helpful staff, to selecting fabric, it was a brilliant process. Sofa is in and looks stunning. The most comfy sofa we have ever had. Luxury product for a lot less than you would expect. My only reservation was the delivery, I was given a time of 2.30-4.30 and they eventually arrived at 7.30, although very apologetic and quick to bring it in, so this was not really a problem in the end.

i have been disappointed by after sales interest in a problem that we found. Before sale, staff were very helpful and made a special effort to get us a firm base to our sofas and helped with colours, fabrics etc. Up to that point a higher star rating is warranted. We bought 2 Merryvale sofas. The base cushions are extremely bulbous and ride forward on the base and the back cushions drop - leaving an unsupported edge over the front of the sofas and a very uncomfortable slouched sitting position. After sales, I think the real commitment to our problem has tailed off. A FIRA rep visit has been offered - but at our cost if they claim no manufacturing fault. I think it is a design fault, not a manufacturing fault. S&S have suggested a non slip layer between cushion and base; but are leaving us to find that (admittedly at their cost) and do not seem really believing in the problem or committed to looking further in to it or really doing much themselves about it. Folks remain sounding concerned but there is not really much action to help.
