We have just taken delivery of a fabulous sofa and a sofa bed to match from Sofas and Stuff and could not be happier with them. We were at our wits end trying to find a sofa bed and sofa to match that looked good, was comfortable and was the right size. Sofas and Stuff were so welcoming and friendly when we first met with them and followed this up all the way through. They put themselves out to get the sofas to us for Christmas, which was a feat in itself as they were being delivered to a different address in a village too small to take large delivery lorries!! They made alternative arrangements with the nicest delivery drivers possible and even delivered the order ahead of the footstool (to follow in a few weeks) to ensure we had them for Christmas. I have honestly not had such good service along with perfect products for such a long time and would recommend them to everyone and anyone.

After a long search for our perfect bed we found a lovely and unique design at Sofas and Stuff - we visited the showroom in London and were really impressed with the fabric selection available and the customer service there.
Our bed arrived in time for christmas and we are delighted with it.

Gorgeous sofa and an all round pleasurable buying experience. Went to the lovely barn showroom in Sussex and were given superb friendly professional help by the staff who had a great interior designer's colour sense. We chose a fabric outside of the 'house' selection at no extra cost and were helped to choose completely different fabrics for the scatter cushions. So the sofa feels bespoke and is fabulously well-built and soft and comfy. We ordered late Nov and they managed to deliver before Christmas. Fab!

Following a long read through all reviews available to us on Sofa & Stuff and a lot of research we decided to visit the Fittleworth showroom (we didn't want to make a mistake with such an important purchase).

We were really pleased with the style of showroom and easy nature of the sales team. We dealt with Suzanne who was lovely and incredibly helpful; guiding us through the process and anticipating our needs. For example calling ahead to check fabric stock ahead of ordering and going through specific instructions as to the upholstery finish we requested. We didn't think that we would be able to get our new sofa's in time for Christmas and the week before this was looking highly unlikely due to issues with the delivery company, that said Suzanne and the team at Sofa and Stuff helped get us on the list for delivery and we're delighted to say that we took delivery of our two beautiful new sofa's the day before Christmas eve.

Overall we're very pleased with the sofas and with our fabric choice of wool and wool plaid my only slightly negative observation would be the finish to the underside of the sofa's looks cheap as its made of polypropylene black bottoming and doesn't reflect the image of the sofa especially if you choose, as we did, an expensive fabric. This is probably a cost issue and keeps the overall cost of production down however as I am currently learning upholstery I wouldn't use such a product myself and am slightly disappointed by this aspect of the sofa and finish.

I would recommend Sofa & Stuff to friends as the experience has been painless and thoughtful although I would probably suggest they used a house fabric to align cost and finish. On that note when reading reviews there are great comments on service but not much on quality hence I think its important to note parity of price and product offering.

Thank you for your feedback, we very much appreciate all of your comments. Regarding the underside of you sofa, we use this fabric as standard on all of our products and the reason for this is purely down to strength, it is one of the strongest base cloth fabrics you can get and is used widely across the industry and a strong/modern alternative to Hessian. We fully appreciate that Hessian looks good however, it is not as strong and the difference in cost is minimal. We certainly do not use it to keep cost down as at Sofas and Stuff are all about quality.

We required a slightly different construction for our corner sofa which meant it needed to be custom built. After choosing our desired fabric we were told that it would be tight to get our sofa before Christmas because of the extra work needed to make the sofa right for the space it was intended for. With no prompting from us we did get it before Christmas which we were extremely pleased about. The customer service we have received has been excellent and we are delighted with our sofa. We would definitely recommend to others in the future. Thank you, Sofas & Stuff!

While we were deciding on style of sofa and material, the sales team could not have been more helpful. Once ordered, we were kept updated and they delivered as promised, 2 days before Christmas, installed in the right room with all packaging removed. The sofa is not only beautiful and well made but also very comfy! We are delighted. We need an armchair next and Sofas and Stuff will be our first port of call! Thank you.

from the moment we set foot in the amazing barn full of beautiful sofas we knew this was going to be the place we would find what we were looking for. all the staff were lovely. it was mandy whom dealt with our order she was in particular charming attentive and extremely knowledgeable she went above and beyond to source what we were after.the sofas arrive after only 6 weeks and were even more stunning than i imagined. we are over the moon with them. the quality and the service cannot be compared to this company.............simply amazing.

Sofas and Stuff have made an excellent job of providing a plain sofa plus one chair in sofa colour with contrasting caravan stripe cushions all very comfortable. We had been looking for over a year for a new sofa and most were just not what we had in mind. Whilst looking on the net I came across Sofas and Stuff and realised we could select a shape and have them covered in a fabric of our liking. We called at the show room near Ripley and you could say the rest is history, predicted time scale from order to delivery good. I like someone else has written would have liked any left over fabric sending with the suite as I am handy with a sewing machine.

Delivery men were fine and careful but I had to chase the company for a time and date as S&S had advised me the order was with the carrier and still no contact after a couple of days. We did like that the delivery company gave a two hour time slot. Stain Guard info and box missing so yet another Email. All was resolved quickly.

Went to the North Yorkshire barn to see Sofas & Stuff's products - nice fabrics, comfy sofas, polite staff - so far so good. Got a quote for our chosen sofa in a bespoke size - good again. Double checked the price - again, good. Went to place an order only to find out that we were mis-quoted (on both occasions) and the price suddenly shot up to a ridiculous one. Not so good any more... After some consideration, decided to limit our order to an armchair only (and went ahead with a sofa purchase from another similar company - SUPERB by the way on all fronts). So, finally got our delivery date with a promise that a 2 hr delivery slot would be confirmed beforehand. Never happened... The delivery guys turned up on the day (luckily first thing) with our chair. Good, you may think... well read on! The chair looked niced until we sat down on it - one of the legs was wobbly and came off completely when we tried to tighten it!! Oh, did I mention that the delivery guys smelt of cigarettes so much that we had to use a room freshener to get rid of the stench? Notified Sofas & Stuff about the broken leg (or rather the component which holds the bolt) - 24 hrs later had to chase them for a response at which point heard that due to a busy period they wouldn't be able to get anyone until after the New Year. So, in summary, we've got a lovely chair to... look at for now!! I really don't think we'll ever purchase anything else from Sofas & Staff :-(

A pleasure visiting Sofas and stuff in Fittleworth west sussex - a problem free experience - after six months of searching for sofas for our new home we found just what we wanted. The choice of fabrics was amazing.

The staff in the shop were very helpful and we were confident enough in what we had seen to order our sofa and chair on the first visit. The furniture was delivered on time, despite being in the run up to christmas, and it was well wrapped in blankets and other packing to avoid damage. We are very pleased with the fabric, style and quality of the sofa and chair and could not have been happier with the service we have received.

Superb product found on the web has lived up to expectations. A visit to the Hungerford barn confirmed my impressions and the knowledgeable and charming saleswoman made intelligent comments on our queries which resulted in making better choices about style, size and fabrics. Later additions to the order were made accurately and arrived perfect in every detail. I appreciated being kept up-to-date on progress. I have been purchasing a variety items for a new house and the customer service I received from Sofas and Stuff is head and shoulders above most of the companies with which I have been dealing. Reliable delivery information
and careful and friendly deliverymen completed a class act.

Saw an advert and thought a showroom would be miles away (we live in the country in Sussex) but were pleased to find it was not far from us in an amazing converted barn, loads of sofas on display and loads of fabric samples to choose from. Spent ages making a decision but never once felt rushed. The sales team were helpful and informative. It was quite a long wait before the sofas were delivered but well worth knowing our sofas were made especially for us and not just picked from some big company warehouse that always has a sale on that "must end" .............you know who I mean!!

Also the delivery guys were punctual and took their shoes off (new carpet!) Would highly recommend Sofas and Stuff and would use again.

We visited the showroom near Tunbridge Wells twice before deciding upon our sofa - and the fabric and size we wanted it in. The staff were very helpful - and didn't mind our 3 noisy kids in the showroom whilst we made our choices! We are delighted with our sofa, it's really comfortable and looks great in our sitting room. We waited about 8 or 9 weeks for it to be made and delivered, but it was worth waiting for.

We were originally planning to order our new sofa through another bespoke company that we'd ordered from about 8 years ago. But boy, had their prices gone up! And they really had a "could care less" attitude about us wanting to place another order with them -- even though 8 years ago when we were decorating our new house we bought 3 sofas and two large armchairs from them!

I saw a promotion for Sofas & Stuff in the Times and took a look at their website. I didn't find exactly the style and shape we wanted, but thought it was worth going to the showroom. Initially, I felt the showroom (Parsons Green) was more warehouse-looking than I expected. But the sales staff were inviting, and ended up spending lots of time with us. The sales woman found a picture of the type of sofa we were after, which wasn't on their website. There was also a sample of it in the showroom, so that certainly made the difference--to actually sit in it! We were also pleased to be told that we could order it in a larger size.

We found the quality of fibre seat cushions and feather-filled back cushions to be of the same quality as the other company, for almost half the cost. The sales woman then spent hours with us going through fabric sample books and was very patient, as we had quite a picky idea of what exactly we were after. Samples were ordered, as she insisted we really need to see the fabric at home in daylight.

We are very happy with our new sofa. We received an email about when to expect delivery, and the only negative I can report is I had to phone the delivery company as I had not heard from them by the date specified on the email. They then told me they'd be delivering 3 days later, and that I could not choose any other date or it would be weeks before we'd see the sofa. This was most annoying as I then had to cancel everything I had set for that day. I was given a 2-hour window the day before, and a phone call 20 minutes before the men arrived. The delivery men also moved my old sofa into our garage.
