hi there i ordered my dress in july and had excatly the same service and even the same thing said to me , its clearly her selling technique which i felt put me under pressure . When i paid the last installment the service changed and i never heard from them about my dress fitting. i was panicking and a couple of days before my wedding i had to call them to find out myself wether my dress had even arrived, i was so angry that nobody had contacted me to let me know what was going on and the manager was very nonunderstanding about my concern and was very uncooperative of the fact that it was very difficult in such short notice for me with work to get the specific time she was telling me to come to my fitting. and to top everything off after half an hour of being in the church on my wedding day all the crystal and beeding were falling off my dress which id paid nearly 3,000 pound for and by the time i got to the venue all the hem of my dress completely came down and i was tripping over it constantly, i had to change into something else half way through my day, i was so upset, you dont expect to pay 3,000 pound for your wedding dress for it to fall to pieces and not even get your full days wear out of it. absolutly apalling wouldnt recommend the shops service or dress quality to anyone.

I have nothing but compliments to say about With Love Bridal. I booked my wedding at the end of January and had only 5 months before my wedding day. Jan and the team helped me find my perfect dress, ensured it arrived on time and made me an absolute priority in subsequent fittings and alterations appointments - even keeping the shop open a little later so I could get back from my work in London to have a fitting/alteration session. Everyone commented on how beautiful my dress was and I am truly grateful for all the hard work of the With Love girls. I am saddened to see the negative comments below because my experience was nothing but seamless from my first appointment to picking up my dress.

upon entering the store the assistant with long bleached hair spoke with an accent just looked me up and down like dirt, I felt so unwelcome and out of place, I asked if some one could help me either make an appointment or if I could speak to the manager, I was told she was busy... I left my number for the manager to call me back this was 3 weeks ago.. Absolutely disgusting service, I work in travel and do sell weddings aboard, I would never recommend this shop, they are unfriendly, rude, treat you like dirt and look down at you. NOTE to the manager if you would like to call me you have my number, I have since gone to Bellamore in Bexleyheath service is fab spent £1300.00 on just my daughters dress going back this Saturday to get the bridesmaids dresses.. TIP my daughters wedding stands at £30,000 so far NEVER NEVER NEVER judge a book by its cover.. I will tell all my clients how awful and dreadful your staff are

Ive never wrote a bad review before but I was so upset by my experience I wanted to make other brides to be aware. It is such a special time and I would hate for something so special and enjoyable be ruined by such a horrible and inconsiderate store. They obviously pride themselves on just making a sale and not the happiness or life changing experience they can provided. Many congrats to all you brides to be :) x

I cant wait to wear my dress again and it is down to the ladies at with love that I have this excited feeling.
Thank you so very much, will certainly recommend you to everyone and will be coming back at the end of the year for a dress when I renew my vows.
Ignore the pathetic comments you see on here.... judge the service for yourself. Iam sure you will agree with me and some of the other lovely messages.

The negatives are that they say (and theres a paper sign on display too) that you need to order dresses 10 months in advance which is much more than any other shop I visited. They also knew this would mean I wouldn't be able to order in time for my wedding - they were possibly planning to add an express charge as an above poster said. Obviously I don't know for certain they would add a charge - it's just a suspicion.
Also, I've visited lots of shops now and whilst many don't let you take pictures, this was the only one that wouldn't even write down the dress designers and names for me. Having liked several dresses I have been looking over internet pictures to help remind me. This is the main reason I think it's unlikely I will be buying my dress from this shop - I don't want to have to go back there just to look at the dresses again to decide if I like them, I work full time so don't have time for such tomfoolery!!

With Love are amazing! Please do not listen to the ONE bad review!
I had a fantastic experience at with Love; I could not recommend them enough, helpful and knowledgeable, the service I received was outstanding.
Having had a bad experience with another bridal shop, I called With Love and spoke with Jan, she could tell I was upset and asked me what I was looking for and I described my dream dress, she asked my size and then arranged an appointment for an hour later, I was utterly blown away when the dress she picked out was exactly what I was looking for! She explained that the dress would come in around 3 weeks before the wedding and I was not to worry as the alterations were carried out locally.
The dress came in 3 weeks before my wedding as promised and the alterations were made in two fittings and were just perfect, the altertation price was as quoted and not extortionate - I knew exactly where i stood the whole time :)
I had an amazing wedding day and had so many wonderful compliments about my dress, I owe it all to Jan and the With Love team!
Guys you are amazing, please do not take the negative comments to heart – some people will never be happy...

My experience at with love was nothing but complemetary. The Altertion charges were reasonable. Many of the bridal shops i visited charged a minimum of £250.00 for alterations. The lady that served me was very honest and everything discussed was written on the order form which i signed.
All i have to say is this place is a must see, its beautiful and the gowns are so beautiful. Felt like a princess before and on my wedding day.

I love my dress and Valerie the lady in the shop was so nice and very helpful, my only complaint is that when I went for 2nd dress fitting I was told it was to take my dress up, after the lady had done this she then hit me with a £120.00 bill for the alterations !!! my arguement is that the dress was made for me, so why was the dress made to long and then I have to foot the bill of £120.00 for alteration when surely the dress should have been the correct length in the first place ?! The lady said that they always say it’ll be up to £150.00 for any alterations and this was explained to me in my first fitting (over 4 months ago), I understand this but surely them alteration prices should be if for instance I have lost weight and needed the dress taken in, surely not because the dress was made to long in the first place !!!! I am really angry with this, £120.00 is a lot of money for us at this late stage and because we are getting married in less than 3 weeks now I can not argue the point as I dont need to added stress. Just beware of this if you ever buy a dress from this shop, make sure you tell them in the first place to make sure its the correct length, its a bit of a con to be honest, OH AND THE £120.00 HAS TO BE PAID IN CASH !!!!!!!!!!

Prior to any bridal purchase our consultants are transparent regarding additional costs especially alterations and this written information is also made clear on our order forms, copies of which are are handed to our brides. All our gowns are ordered to the size that best fits,however at times brides do fit between sizes so gowns must be ordered accordingly .
All gowns come in standard length which is too long for most brides and have to be adjusted to each individual depending on their shoe height as most brides purchase shoes after their gown.
We price our alterations on the level of work and the time required to compleat this and are often told they are very reasonable .At no time do we set out to mislead any bride and strive to be as helpfull and honest as possible .
