This is one of two Ferdinanda locations in Prague (the other is in New Town).
The service is cheerful and friendly, and the food is fantastic. I highly reommend the fried bread with blue cheese as an appetizer; the pork with apricot chutney and a side of french fries is an excellent entree. Another American also told us that the goulash was excellent.
The entire restaurant is underground in what appears to have once been a cellar, which means that it’s an excellent way to escape the heat on a hot day.
And of course, the beer is excellent.

The male staff in his 40-50s was really rude and if you are tourists, check your change in front of the staff before you leave. The person who attended us was tall and quite big. I was with another two friends on wednesday and we were cheated. when we told him the change was wrong he got mad and threatened us- and scold vulgarities (in Czech). he acted as if he doesnt know english. it was not a pleasant visit for us definitely.
