Super great Jazz-Coffee-Bar!
The hamburger is delicious!!!!
Only been there the one time with Rottenmac. It's a pretty cool place at the end of a street with good jazz music and yummy burgers. Not as expensive as many of the 'so-called' burger joints in town.
Also, the only time I've been there was at night so I don't really know why it's called Kaffee Giesing. Maybe they do coffee in the daytime. I'm not sure. Or, it could be they're modeling themselves after the coffee shops of the 50's and William Burroughs or something.
Anyway, it's worth a try if you're in the area.

Been here a few times. Nice enough place, with better burgers than 90% of the city. Word of warning; the beers are not the usual .5l. Aside from the weissbier that is.
There is live music regularly as well.
The downside is it is still a smoker's club. No fee to join but a drag if you're a non-smoker.
Funky place, great atmosphere, with many nooks and crannies, two big pool tables, dark strange but attractive decor, music, good burgers, and best of all FRIENDLY STAFF (in Munich) - at least our waitress was.
