I had a sandwich literally thrown together today, there is no love in there food preparation. I got tutted at for offering my card for payment and not cash, anything I asked for seemed like a chore.
The previous times I have been there have been worse though. They take orders and walk out of the shop leaving customers wandering if there food is going to arrive, it did not in my case. They hurry for your order and always seem to be arguing.
Cheer up! People don't like getting served by miserable staff and as a result I will not be going there again, even though iti is the closet place to my work.
A great waste and shame. I hope they read this and have a word with there staff, maybe make some changes and try to get back to the way they were when they first opened.
the sandwiches there are amazing — they use fresh bread made from one of thier bakeries and it really makes a difference.
Only thing that lets the place down is the terrible staff, they often get orders wrong , ask customers to pay twice ( because they forgot who paid) and are generally very disorganised — they also find it difficult to understand basic english and to top it off — they are very miserable.
i hope something can be done to improve this area because the cafe itself is a winner.

I’ve been in twice to this cafe over the last 2 days. It has a nice clean feel to the place. Wooden floors and you can see the food preparation area, which is always encouraging.
The menu is great and the food is well priced and very tasty. The fish finger doorstep sandwich is excellent as are the freshly prepared (in front of your eyes) salads.
This place is well worth a visit for lunch. If there is one minor complaint and it is very minor, none of the staff look too happy. They’re pleasant but they don’t look happy… Maybe they need a payrise.
