Small park, but a nice walk around, with lots of grass bits. Lovely place for a picnic, you can have a game of tennis or play a game of bowls.
The park has a bit for older kids and younger kids, nothing has changed though in years so dont expect anything new.
Good for the kids and lots of squirrels!
Castle Park is situated just outside Frodsham, you can get there by taking the X30 Arriva bus from Warrington town centre, the journey is approximately 1 hour long.
Castle park is only a small park but the best thing about it is that there are hundreds of squirrels running around free! People come from miles around to feed them nuts and watch them play and frolic in the woods.
The park is free admittance and dogs are allowed, theres a public toilet which is clean and theres a cafe onsite in the Castle Park Arts Centre where you can buy drinks and snacks.
Lots of play areas for the kids with a play ground with assorted rides and activities to amuse the little ones.
Some nice paths and wooded areas to walk around too and stretch your legs and walk the dog.
